They have great food at Shorty's Diner at this location and the one in Williamsburg. Reminds me so much of the 1950's lifestyle at both locations and the people are nice. Top notch customer service! 👍

This place is beyond overhyped. Both locations. Gotta be the worst eggs ive ever tasted. They taste fake almost. Like a weird plastic taste. Every single piece of toast was insanely cooked. Im talking almost black and we were a party of 6. Took almost an hour to get the food. Yes they were busyish but there wasnt a wait.
The bacon was really good and crispy like i asked and the bisquit was nice. But yea the eggs were horrible and made the whole meal bad. Id imagine the omlette is the same.

Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Gives ya a good greasy diner kind-of vibe. Looks like the owner might have been a college athlete and has some connections. There were a lot of pictures in the lobby of him meeting people. Service was a little slow but very friendly. Took about 10 minutes for me to get sat, even though there weren't many people inside. The food was good. My burger was really tasty, as were the fries. Looks like they are a breakfast all day place, although they close around 2pm. I will definitely come back to try their breakfast.

Just ordered from Doordash. This food is literally tasteless. I wanted a good burrito so badly. Even the bacon did not add any flavor. It didnt come with any sour cream. I got blueberry pancakes instead of the banana ones I ordered. A waste of $20.

I used to not be that big on their food, but it's grown on me as they've gotten better over the years. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating despite the fact that it feels like whenever I order they're super busy. I would recommend the club sandwich and the broccoli cheddar soup. I cannot restate enough how nice the wait staff are; the hostess (who I didn't catch the name of) was very much running around doing a million things at once but quickly got my to-go order put in and I had it soon after.
