Very nice family restaurant. The service was a bit slow, but they were getting a lot of GrubHub orders, so I can't fault them. It's a pleasant little breakfast place and well worth a stop if you're in the area. The food came out hot and delicious and the prices are the lowest I've seen in Richmond. The server was very kind and attentive when he wasn't busy with the delivery drivers.

On my search for a salmon cake based breakfast I found Sisters café, this historic spot has been around for years and is family owned and operated and I just loved the feel of this place when I walked in.......it felt like home with old school music playing in the background. I ordered the bigger breakfast(2 eggs, one side, salmon cake, bacon, sausage, or corned beef hash or ham steak, hot cakes, French toast or a waffle) I didn't get any of the other meats just the salmon for me and I added fried potatoes and fried apples.............amazing! I talked to one of the owners and he gave me some of the history of this wonderful breakfast/lunch spot and how much his dear mother loved the café. If you haven't been, get there now!

Omg the food is freakin amazing. I ordered a omelet with toast, corned beef and hash, and fried potatoes. The food was hot, and I got my order really fast. I highly suggest a visit here for the best mom and pop restaurant experience.

I was skeptical about going here but I try NOT to judge a book by its cover. It took a while to get our food. Then we got it and this is probably the first te I left food on the table with no interest in a to go container (which will cost you .25). My French toast was more like egg toast...the potatoes and onions...well I was looking for the onions...the grits with cheese..not sure what kind of cheese it was but I'm skeptical of cheese that doesn't really melt, the sausage patty was thin and overcooked, the bacon was truly crispy..I'm used to thick cut bacon...the eggs were ok, the corned beef hash was ok, and the pancakes were silver dollar sized and thin as paper. I have heard good things about this place but this was not a hood experience for me.

I've been stopping by this place off and on for over 15 years or so but I must say that the quality has gone down. I usually get my order to go and it's usually the same thing, 4 eggs with cheese, corned beef hash and a bologna egg and cheese on buttered toast. The thing is that I have to emphasize cheese because a few times after I have left then later down the road opened my breakfast there wasn't cheese in my egg sandwich or the 4 eggs I asked or it would be in 1 not the other.I would call back and tell them or mention it to them the next time I ordered, it has happened a few times. Now to the quality part of my review.....they have went from beef bologna to a all meat bologna and its just not the same taste. The cheese I use to get in my eggs use to be cheddar u could taste it, now it's a bland combination of cheese....probably mild. The quality is just not what I've been use to out of here.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast. Biscuits were on point, gravy was perfect, bacon was crispy. Added to the list.

Food had no seasoning. Tasted very bland. Omelet was watery. Bacon was ok.. French toast were eggy tasting. Did not enjoy.. Will not order again.

Real Virginia soul food. A little pricey but you're supporting a small black owned woman business.

Slowest service ever. Employees standing around twiddling their thumbs. Smh. If there are multiple orders and people are standing around something is not right. Would not recommend.

Great breakfast. Very generous portions. And friendly folks.
