Delicious ramen and sake! Biggest gyoza I've ever had. Truly a splendid experience!

We love the shoyu ramen - it’s perfect on any chilly or rainy day! The staff here is welcoming and friendly and although the outside might look like a more full service dining spot, it’s very much quick service! Food is out in 5-10 minutes. Great lunch or dinner spot, and love that they’re open until 10pm. Their menu items that say spicy are REAL spicy imo.

It is AMAZING!! The nice lady that welcomed us was top notch and the food came out so quickly :D I got the tonkotsu and it has a very rich flavor. However this resturant is not for someone that does not like japanese/ chinese flavors or thinking it tastes like cup ramen.

This place is pretty cool! Small ramen spot with a nice salt water aquarium to glance at. The ramen was pretty good. Ordered the tonkotsu ramen with grounded pork. Good broth and the service was very nice.

Had the tonkatsu ramen, and honestly, it was quite disappointing. The ramen is very miso and soy sauce heavy and doesn't really taste fresh. The noodles are not great. Overall, just not a ramen place I would recommend. Atmosphere was good with minimal seating and a cool fishtank.

Staff are nice, menu is small and limited (only pork and tofu for the Ramen) and it was nothing special for the price.

We didn’t eat here. We waited for the bar next door. We tried to open the door to look at the fish tank that they had. One staff member opened the door, even though they were closed. They asked if we needed anything and we said no, we just wanted to look at the fish tank. She said ok and then closed the door. She went in and then covered up the fish tank with its cover!!! We just wanted to admire the pretty fish tank and she was not having it. She covered it up it in front of us. I felt like this was so rude.

Fast casual-ish spot for ramen. The wings, tofu skins, salad are all on point. For some reason the broth doesn't quite hit how I want it to though. Overall still a great spot for a quick bite and a Toki highball!

GET TO SLURP!!! What an awesome addition to the Richmond food scene! The food gets five stars —full of complex flavors and a perfectly edited variety on the menu. The team gets even a few more stars if possible—great at explaining the menu, helpful with selections/portion sizes, and so personable.I love the wallpaper in the bathroom and the smell of the hand soap---all in the details ?.Check it out and make it a staple for your comfort food cravings!

Went in with high expectations because of the glowing reviews but was honestly very disappointed. We got both the tonkatsu and miso ramen broths and both were not very good. The tonkatsu broth had an almost burnt, liquid smoke flavor to it that was overwhelming and the miso broth had a very strong tahini (almost peanut buttery) flavor to it. The only redeeming qualities were the char siu pork and the cooking of the egg which were both perfect. Even the gyoza lacked flavor and were mushy. Cant say I would come back even though it is a cool spot with friendly servers!

Broth could definitely be warmer, but the ramen itself was tasty. There are vegetarian and vegan options.

Great flavors! Got the Tonkotsu Bowl with Char Siu. This is our new ramen spot. I was really surprised at this new place on the Hill. I will say that $7 for only 4 gyoza is a little much, but they were very yummy and paired with a nice dipping sauce. I just got to go this time, but will try dine in next time!

Nice little spot for ramen. The atmosphere was great and the staff was very helpful and quick. There was a sauce bar (soy sauce, fish oil and such). At this bar there was a water dispenser and ice chest, all self serving (which depend on how you are with other people germs you will hate it or love it). The broth was great, but somewhat limited. There was only 3 choice for protein, which where pork (shredded or sliced), marinated tofu, or nothing. That being said the broths were great and the small dishes taste amazing. I somewhat recommend.
