My heart is broken! Less than 2 weeks before my wedding and the caterer cancels due to their mistake and my questioning it. Not only is is so last minute, but the unprofessional message I received from their representative, Elizabeth Sexton, was absurd! We placed a catering order for November 1st, but when they sent the invoice (over the weekend) we noticed it had the incorrect sides and the additional sauces that needed to be charged were not on there. I am a brunswick stew snob, and Smohk's is among the very best VA style I've ever eaten. The East Carolina bbq sandwich is legit too. If I lived in RVA I'd probably eat here 3-4 times a month. I cannot recommend more highly! 10/10
