I'll be honest, I had low expectations as I know it's a college student hangout, but I actually really enjoyed this place. The food and drinks were good and very reasonably priced, and the trivia was super fun. I will likely be back :)

Showed up at 7 didnt get food until almost 8; while others around showed up later and got food before me. I ordered wings and sweet potato fries, my girlfriend ordered bruschetta that she had to make herself....to my knowledge it's supposed to come with the cheese and salad already on the bread; not all three separate. None of these dishes should take over an hour to make. The only slack I can give is that it got busy, but it wasn't busy when we got there and it was probably peak by the time we got our food and others got their food before us like I stated previously. Overall I left frustrated and ate my food fast and left as soon as I could.

My first time there for happy hour! I was so excited! Got a bunch of drinks and apps. Was so sad my ordered didn't come out right. Ordered my meal to go, I ordered nachos without meat. The waitress confirmed no meat and I got home so excited to eat them! And they were COVERED in meat :'( so I am now trying to cook something in my kitchen after drinking 4 social 52 mules and paying for nachos I can't eat !!

Place sucks. Food is bad and took over an hour with virtually no other tables.

Great fun atmosphere. Good food and service too. Got there early on a Friday evening and the place was packed when we left!

I am pleased with our experience here. They took our group of 11 with 15 minutes notice after our reservations elsewhere fell through. Some of the food (shrimp and grits and sausage and gravy) were overcooked. The food was a bit under seasoned. The breakfast biscuit had no sign of hot honey and we ordered more than one. Should be drizzled over the chicken not added to the biscuit, it drowns out the taste. The atmosphere was a perfect brunch spot, drinks were good with unique flavors and names. All of the food was presented well (shrimp and grits were a bit watery and didn’t present well). Biscuits were hard and some burnt but the flavor was good and we could tell they were from scratch. Lemonade is Minute Maid. For the price it was worth it but I would just hope for more attention to these very unique dishes. There is a flavor explosion in the menu description when reading but it doesn’t always translate to the cooked food. I would go again for drinks and to taste non breakfast food, but not likely since there are so many other amazing food places in Richmond. Having a large party sometimes sets the tone for service. I understand the difficulty that comes with giving us superb service, but I expect a certain level. Our server seemed annoyed and preoccupied. She didn’t check on us and we frequently had to bye for her attention to have simple requests filled for our table (condiments, salt, missing items & entrees)

Beautiful location, nice people, very nice bar and liquor selection, but there were a few things that made me give it two stars. The service was slow, only one sever, so I can could forgive that if what I wanted from the menu was available- took 5-10 minutes to learn my preference was not Available. We put the order in, and it was only us in the dining room. It took at least 20 min to get the sharables out. By that time, another party came in. Our food was okay, the burgers were over cooked and not that tasty, but service was very slow. The best thing was the bacon wrapped dates! And while she was very nice, the server seemed overwhelmed.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. We had a group of 7 and there was no wait and we were seated as soon as we got in. We ordered Chicken & Waffles, French Toast, Shrimp & Grits, And Steak & Eggs. French Toast and the Chicken and waffles was Amazing! Unfortunately the steak wasn't cooked the way asked. Even getting a redo still wasn't right. The shrimp and grits were too watery. Our main waitress was amazing and anyone who came in contact with us were great! The drinks were great as well so shoutout to the bartender. Even with the mistakes they did discount the meal and offer a round of drinks on the house which was very appreciated! I would come back again to try different items on the menu.

First time here, the food was superb. Definitely recommend and will be back. Their brunch menu has all the fave foods. We did not order drinks from the bar, sorry. The service was excellent. The restrooms are clean.Parking: Parking is tough, you have to circle the blocks as you will be sharing this parking with the residents.
