I got crabs from this place and I asked for large male, I was so disappointed when I got in to eat them the crabs was so lightweight n small and they tasted like water no flavor at all

I ordered the 10 piece trout for dinner. There was an accident so I pulled out the Lysol wipes and had dinner in my car. The fish was seasoned and fried perfectly 👌

They charged my card , after I said I wanted a refund then goes to say there machine is not working, I understand said she has been in business for years but it’s seems like everytime I go in there their doing something wrong & over that past year she has fallen off

I had a terrible experience at Sonya’s Seafood. I ordered two pieces of flounder and hush puppies, and shortly after eating, I got sick and threw up. I called the restaurant, and they told me to bring the food back. When I did, I was met with unnecessary hostility and disrespect. Even though I was calm and respectful, I was yelled at and told, “I don’t care if you ever come back.”
What’s especially frustrating is how often you see businesses set up in predominantly Black communities, only to treat the very customers who support them with complete disregard. We deserve better—safe food, respectful service, and accountability when something goes wrong. I will not be returning, and I hope others take this into consideration.

I never had a problem wit Sonya or owners now. Crabs, fish, snow crab legs, devil crab and many more I have ate and no problem. Now the crabs you got to catch them on a good day, meaning u may get shallow crabs or even dead crabs amongst your dozen or two. But no bad complaints like all these others. Sorry y’all endured bad food from but
It doesn't have that traditional fried seafood(fish) vibe.

They sold me 8 bad fish, I was going to buy some more fish and asked for a discount, they told me no, man was very rude and tried convince me the fish I bought on mother's day wasn't bad. Then told me I couldn't purchase the soda and deviled eggs.
