Stopped in on the way home and had the pulled pork, jerk chicken, and the buttermilk tacos and they were fire 🔥 🤤. Atmosphere was cool and Declan was friendly and provided great service! Will definitely be back soon!

This place is not what it was during Covid (dc). DC it was delicious, atmosphere was amazing, it was a good place to chill after a long day. I raved about this place until today. No liquor license meant no happier meal. Food was less than food truck quality. I loved this place previously and I am sad to say that I will not return. It’s like finding out Santa isn’t real.

Went here today because daughter is trying out different birria taco/quesadillas in the Richmond area. Both food and service did not disappoint. We ordered 3 birria quesadillas (2 in each box), and a 3-taco meal (2 cornmeal catfish and. 1 buttermilk fried chicken) and all were delicious. My kids only ate the birria, and they thought it was delicous, but my favorite was the catfish because the cornmeal on the outside was super crunchy. There was only one person there at the time, Declan, who, not only greeted us at the door with a smile and but was happy to serve. He even hooked us up with extra meat/protein on all our tacos/quesadillas and threw in 4 cans of Pepsi on the house! Definitely going back again to try more from the menu (like the shrimp and oxtail) but also to see our guy Declan again.
Solidly fine. I wouldn't go back again but would meet someone there if they wanted to go.

This place has fallen off a cliff. Were out of salsa (?), drinks, etc. Food took forever because only one cook, noisy busted HVAC (and no A/C), etc.

Food was terrible! I got birria quesadillas, no flavor and smelled like dog food. My girlfriend got shrimp po boy taco, it was soggy and too much on it. Flavors all over the place. Limeade ok compared to the food, but extremely sour. First and last time I will eat here…. Oh yeah $25 for 3 tacos and a small drink all together.

I have heard so much about soul taco, but I was highly disappointed. I got the shrimp taco and steak taco. The shrimp one was good but did not have much shrimp on it. It was more of a sloppy hot mess. The steak taco taste horrible and the meat was chewy. I gagged. Never again my friend. Restaurant was basically empty. I should of known better.
