One of the best cheesesteaks you will ever have! I will swear that John's Roast Pork in Philly is the best/ my favorite, this is probably as good, only thing it is lacking is the geographical location. Also the Wedge Salad is insanely good.
Food was awesome and drinks were good! Loved the Caesar salad. Our server was amazing! We had accidentally left our leftover sandwiches at the table and as we were walking up to our parked out front she ran out and brought it out to us. Honestly she's amazing and is a real one. I had such a long day at work and hadn't eaten since the morning and we had gone in there for a late night dinner. Made my night!

cool little spot, ted danson is my favorite turkey sandwich in town. bread was nice and fluffy. generous portions, great shoestring fries. atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, service was great. i usually don't like phillies but my fiance ordered one and i took several bites.

The cheesesteaks may be good here, but the service is some of the worst I've ever seen. I went in around 2 on a Sunday, apparently they shut down the kitchen for 2 hours between brunch. OK fine, pretty egregious practice on a Sunday, but it is what it is. To not post anything like this on your site, and to not have a phone number is just careless and speaks to the overall vibe of incompetence I got here. Also when I walked in, the place was gross and the staff was sitting down while people were actively dining. Just bad stuff across the board. You can spend your money at way better places that actually value customers.

I would've given this place 5 stars for the cheesesteak alone, but I did try the Ted Danson Turkey sub and the potato salad, which were both mediocre at best. The biggest disappointment in this place was the service. Very non chalant and employees had almost "I don't care" attitudes. NO urgency, no communication on to-go orders. No smiles, no common courtesy. Restaurants should be inviting..just having family photos of "Stanley" on the wall isn't enough to call yourself a family restaurant. The former restaurant in this space was a staple in Richmond for so many years because it was a part of the neighborhood and the community. Maybe Stanley doesn't care about being that to Richmonders. Maybe Richmonders treated this way won't care to make return visits to this place. I know this one won't.

I'm a philly native. This is a really good cheesesteak. However, I just dropped $19 for a relatively small (8 inch, maybe 10), not overly stuffed cheesesteak, with a small bag of chips (that was takeout with a $1 tip to hand me the bag). Outrageous price, can't go back. Inflation and all considered, absolutely ridiculous.
