I arrived at the Starbucks around 6:30 PM, but the store was closed due to a reported altercation with a customer that required police involvement. One of the staff members did open the door and allowed me inside, and I sat quietly for about 20 minutes.
After that, the same staff member came over and told me I could not remain inside unless I placed an order, stating it was store policy. I complied and ordered a hot drink. However, when handing me the drink, she told me, “You can’t take your shoes off here.”
I explained that I have burning feet syndrome and that I was simply wearing socks—not barefoot. The interaction felt unprofessional and lacking in empathy, especially given the circumstances and the way the situation was handled.
I understand store policies, but customer service should still be respectful and accommodating, particularly when a medical explanation is clearly communicated. This experience was disappointing and could have been handled much better.

Drink was watered down eggnog latte, turn back around to tell them received another one was still watered down $7.10 wasted.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Starbucks. Even though the store was almost empty and the app said my order would be ready at 7:03, my single latte still wasn’t done by 7:10.

I went up to the counter twice and tried to ask both baristas how much longer it would take. They looked right at me and completely ignored me.

After finally getting my drink 10 minutes late, I asked for an extra cup. Again, they ignored me, and I had to wait about a minute before one of them finally handed me one.

And when I opened the cup, I realized they had only filled my latte to about three-quarters of the cup.

Really disappointing service.

It's gone full industrial, bad minimalist, is still overpriced, the coffee is still not good. Go to Parlor or Roscoe's please. This is slop served up to mindless zombies. Most of the drinks are just sugary syrup. They are vehicles for diabetes, milkshakes with a splash of coffee. Again, please support a real coffee place like Parlor or Roscoe's. PLUS THEY TREAT THEIR EMPLOYEES BADLY AND ARE FIRMLY ANTI-UNION. They purposely understaff their stores and overwork their employees. I would only go there with a gift card, and then, reluctantly, with complaining.

I didn’t catch her name, but I went through the Starbucks drive-thru the morning of Saturday September 13th (around 830am) and the barista who took my order and gave me my drink was so lovely and kind and had a great personality! I go through this Starbucks frequently as it is right before the highway I take for work and I’ve always had a good experience.

We had wandered a bit away from museums and our hotel, and I guess we were temporarily lost. We spotted this coffee store, so we went in to rest and to regroup, find our way back to the hotel.
