I wish I could give 0 Stars. I have worked for starbucks in the past and i’ve never had such a bad experience. The barista on the hot bar was texting and making phone calls instead of doing her job, and then proceeded to give me a latte with no espresso or syrup, just milk! The other barista complained about how busy it was, while he stood there and did nothing. I placed a mobile order at 5:10 for immediate pickup, and did not leave the establishment until 5:40. I’ve been a barista for years in all kinds of establishments; and this was an incredibly terrible experience not to mention my hot milk no espresso latte tastes like shit. This establishment needs to seriously re-evaluate their training and staffing. I was gonna return and have my drink made but it’s not even worth it. Save your time and go to a location that cares about customer service.

During a recent visit, the cashier Maddie was incredibly rude. While my friend was politely placing her order, Maddie cut her off with a sarcastic “Can you?” which was completely unnecessary. When I placed my order, she laughed throughout the interaction in a way that felt mocking and unprofessional. It made both of us uncomfortable. The other workers were very nice and respectful and made a great drink and brownie, but the cashier was incredibly rude.

I stopped at a Starbucks off Jank Road on my way to work for a caramel crumble frappuccino, but unfortunately, it tasted like watered-down coffee—something I’ve never experienced in all my years of visiting Starbucks. I was disappointed, but on my way to work I came across this beautiful location (in the Midlothian/Glen Allen area) and decided to stop in.
The team there immediately corrected my drink, added extra crumbles, and delivered exactly the rich, flavorful frappuccino I was craving. They exceeded my expectations and turned my day around. I generally have great experiences with Starbucks, but this location really stood out for their quick service, friendly attitude, and commitment to making things right.

My favorite Starbucks location in the whole US.
I live in another major city now, but this location has my heart because of the people. Without fail, everyone I've encountered has been unfailingly kind and helpful, even when they had every reason not to be. If that wasn't enough, they make the BEST drinks. The more complex orders like Frappuccino are always well made--I have yet to have one better at any other Starbucks. The shaken espressos have perfect ratios and lattes the perfect sweetness.
I also am very appreciative that while they've remodeled over the years (I've been coming since they opened in the 2000s!), they maintain a warm, calm environment by keeping plenty of seating. This layout has sadly disappeared in a lot of locations (like many NYC Starbucks), but this spot keeps a local cafe feeling that immediately puts me at ease.
Thank you all so much for being such a constant, warm presence every time I come home!
