We went out to lunch with friends and had a GREAT time. We loved the ambiance, we had great service, our meals were delicious (nothing left to take home) and it was lively but not overpowering our conversation. It's not inexpensive but DEFINITELY worth it. We'll be back and thanks for a fine experience.

Birthday celebration with 5 of us, we were seated at a great corner table and the charming staff regularly assured us to not rush at all, and enjoy our time together. We shared a sampler platter, yum, and everyone loved their food, including my arugula salad w grapes, a lamb gyro, fried calamari, chicken souvlaki pita. Candles came in 2 shared desserts, a chocolate ganache cake w sour cherrriesand a salted caramel gelato w halvah and honey, BOOM! The noise level of combined conversations can get high, but it's an energizing and beautiful place. And the young ladies who helped us made our day!

Poor quality mousaka. Actually gray bechamel sauce runny and drab, topping one thin bland layer of eggplant on top of finely ground beef with a hint of spice. Nutmeg, cinnamon- maybe? Visually unappetizing followed by little flavor. Very disappointed.

Everything is basically perfect, the servers are great, and the food is exceptional! The only downside is that there is a long wait most of the time for dinner because it is so popular. One of my favorite restaurants in town! 😋

This was my first dining at This Stella's (Decades ago, dined frequently at Stella's closer to VCU.) This atmosphere is light. Bright. Saved best for last: FOOD! OMG. This is some of the best Mediterranean food I've had in years. And I love Greek. Even the lettuce and tomatoes were ripe and fresh. Fresh pita. Lamb perfection! Bisque... Mmm! I'm hungry.

Two words -- Lamb Shank!!!, If you choose to ignore that piece of advice, then you can also try -- the Lamb Shank!!! 😄 The No. 5 Pasta is HUGE, Crab cakes are excellent!! (but small and pricey), Artichoke Moussaka is fantastic, and the Dolmades & Keftedes are a nice start to the whole meal. Get dessert from across the street at Stella's grocery store and take it home and enjoy later.
