Gotta love the funkiness of this place, but I have given up on the Dabney St. location. For the second time, the place was severely understaffed (ONE bartender) despite the fact they had two events happening. How does that happen? I would have stayed longer, but when I saw the length of the line to order - and the lone bartender still happily giving out multiple tasting samples - I had to move on.

We love both Richmond locations. Staff is always super kind and inviting. Cool vibes in both locations, plenty of seating, and a wide variety of beers to enjoy.

Flights up to 10! Well laid out menu by beer type/flavor profile. Liked every beer we tried.
You simply can't go wrong. The only thing better than the beer (which is amazing) is the staff.

Good brewery! The tap list is extensive, the vibe is funky, and the beer is good. The location itself is kind of boring and just outside of the hip and happening spots, but there is ample parking and that’s the reason I chose this location over the Scott’s Addition one. Plenty of seating options with outdoor seating, spots in front, and seats in back for live music. The giant pretzel was a smidge dry, but that didn't take away from the overall enjoyment of it..for $8 it’s definitely worth the price. They’ll do up to ten samples at one time so there’s plenty of ways to find the beer you like. You can also get a 5oz, 13oz, or 20oz of any beer. Come check it out!

We had a party for approximately 60 people at Strangeways on Dabney Road in May 2024. Our event was comfortable, affordable and fun. We were able to have a food truck and were given advance access to the space to decorate. We found the staff flexible and accomodating when unforeseen situations came up, as they often do. Highly recommend!
