Had crab cake sandwich the last time they were here. Tonight I had the Mac & Cheese with grilled chicken & hush puppies. Would definitely order it again.
Great decor, ambiance. Our waitress was wonderful. The pot pie was like grandma's. Will be back.
Under new ownership...have tried to call but get hung up on. They have not informed the public of when they are open or closed. Bad for business. Won't make it.
Our waiter was wonderful. Very polite and accomodating. Large menu, so all 7 of us could find something we wanted.
Food was very good. Daily lunch special of Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with 2 sides (my choice) of sautéed Brussels sprouts and fresh fruit was delicious. Large enough to take half home as leftovers. Service was outstanding.
Besides the bathtub salad bar, the food on the menu is good also! I usually order menu and add on the salad bar for five bucks!
Brought a group of seniors and they were delighted with the menu choices and Molly was a blessing! So patient and helpful. Food was delicious and the all want to come back! Thank you
Brunch on Sunday at Strawberry Street Cafe is always a delight. The avocado toasts on gluten free bread with scrambled eggs was delicious.
Great service! Crab cake benedict awesome! warm cinnamon buns would be a nice addition. The hot food could have been warmer..and maybe consider cheese less grits and potatoes for the dairy free people. Thanks!
We were going to a lecture at Altria Theater and I looked for a place to eat. We loved the food, the price was superb and the cafe was charming.
Restaurantji Recommends
For a Sunday morning brunch, it took over 90 minutes for our table of eight to be served. When the food did finally arrive, it was cold for most of us, and only okay. A very disappointing experience overall. Would not recommend to others.
Service was slow . Waited 30+ for food. Restaurant was busy but not full. Bloody Mary was outstanding. Eggplant Panini was good but would have preferred grilled vs fried eggplant. Onion Rings were good.
They advertised special meals today from 4-8pm however the specials on the menu were different. The server said they decided not to serve the specials as advertised. Food was okay, but nothing special.
I was surprised how quiet Strawberry Street Cafe was on a Sunday around 2 pm, but perhaps the brunch crowd had already passed. They have a brunch and lunch menu available, and our group ordered off both. The bathtub brunch buffet is a unique option, but their menu options are delicious as well. Moderate noise level. Very attentive server. Great meal!
We dined at this restaurant during a Sunday morning. My French Dip was very good; however, our order included Chicken Panino which was very dry and the outside was tough. Parking in this area is very difficult as we had to walk several blocks to this facility. Those who were with me seemed to enjoy their meal.
