Stuart's Fresh Catch

I ordered #1 male crabs from Stuarts Fresh Catch 3 times in the last week. Each time, the crabs were generally a good size, with maybe one or two smaller ones, which wasn’t a problem. However, during my most recent visit, I received what were clearly #2’s instead of the #1’s I ordered and paid for. I didn’t realize this until I got home. I attempted to call 3 times before driving back to the store, but their phone lines weren’t working correctly, no one could hear me on the other end. When I returned, I calmly explained the issue to the young lady at the register. Before I could finish, the gentleman who cooked the crabs rudely interrupted, checked the bag, and insisted on taking me outside to “prove” I had received #1’s. However, the measuring tool he used actually confirmed that I was correct—they were not #1’s. Despite that, he continued to justify the mistake rather than acknowledging it. I tried to explain my position, but he remained dismissive. I told him I wouldn’t be returning and would be disputing the charge since I did not receive what I paid for. He showed no concern and walked back into the building. This experience was disappointing, both in terms of product and customer service. I had been supporting your business, but this situation was handled poorly and without basic respect for a returning customer.

DO Not Purchase Crab from them they sell dead crab and charge high price for small crab $67 for #1 males these look like babies

The last time even though they gave us more than three pieces we ordered the trout were very small (palm) size, hot but not meaty like we were accustomed to.
But, that spoonbread is ALWAYS on point and hot!!!!

Great crabs....I grew up on Chesapeake Bay and these crabs are definitely a treat even though from NC, still delicious. Always buy from there....the best

We left our brother's after a cookout, and our son was hungry??‍♀️. McDonald's is not an option, and instead of Royal Farms or stopping in the city, we decided to stop here, and get crab legs. It was $20, and they seasoned and steamed them for us. We took them home, melted our own butter, and my son and I ate our fill! They were delicious! Thankfully, Dad just cracks them, and doesn't eat them. Thankful that we visited, and will keep it as an option in the future.

I ordered the catfish dinner with greens, hushpuppies. I like my catfish fried a little harder and a little bit more seasoned. With that being said, I would definitely go back!
My family got crablegs and they really enjoyed it!

I used to go here alot. The place would be packed.
Not sure what happened. Looks like a change in ownership. Ordered a trout fish ? sandwich.
Absolutely not good. Fish wad thin . It did not taste well. I end up giving it to my cats ....
Most likely won't go back.
Very disappointed.

Best spoon bread in town! ?

Bought 2 dozen crabs, a lb. of shrimp, and a cluster of crab legs for my father and girlfriend. They were very tasty. I had no issues
