The people are professional and really work on getting your order done and done correctly. This a must try. We can tell you how good it is, but you need to experience this yourself.
I was in Richmond for a few hours, so I decided to try Sugar's Crab Shack. I really didn't have high expectations due to some of the reviews. I am glad that I stopped by because I really enjoyed the food. I had the whiting salad, fried shrimp, and I tried the deviled crab cake. I really enjoyed everything and will be back. The employees were also very friendly and helpful.
The fish was excellent — fresh, well seasoned, and the fries were fried but crisp not greasy — topped off with bean pie for desert, atmosphere was culturally welcome with good old school music— and the service, well it felt like being home— kindness and smiles and they even showed us the food before we took it back to our outside table and just ate, laughed and enjoyed the beauty of the moment.
