Ive been eating here for 6 years & this is by far my favorite sushi spot in ALL of Richmond & surrounding areas. The owners Ashley & her husband & Mother are always there which really shows how much they care about their business. They ARE the face of their business, not their employees. I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here & the service is ALWAYS EXCEPTIONAL. Every ingredient here is FRESH & HIGH QUALITY. Their miso soup I could eat by the vat. Me & my best friend always get a rainbow roll & the Baja or Aloha Roll. I also love their udon & shrimp shumai. I love this place so much, I went to them for catering for a baby shower I was hosting. They also excelled at catering. Even though we don't get a discount, I feel like I'm getting a deal every time I come here because the food is always amazing & service is always top notch. Can't believe this is the first time I'm leaving a review. Also, this is the ONLY & FIRST place I've trusted to eat at during the pandemic. PS, their sushi even great to go.

My husband and I have been. Us timers for over six years. Because of the size of our family our date nights were always take out. Today, we made a reservation to dine in as a family to celebrate our daughters birthday! They were so excited to finally meet our family. They were so kind and thoughtful and the food is always amazing! Two thumbs up for the short ribs, Salmon Tempura Roll and the best ginger dressing I’ve ever had!! Please go and support this business!! We need them to be around for the duration so we can celebrate all of our birthdays here!! We love this place and the family too!

Sushi was good, and the prices were reasonable. I was a little disappointed to get home and realize that there was no eel sauce on my eel bowl ....which for me made it not possible to eat :-( Everything else in the order was good though.

I'm a regular customer here and have always had a great experience but today my order was disappointing. I ordered a tuna poke bowl and the tuna was not sliced, it was almost a whole slab which made it imposible to eat with chopsticks. Also, the quinoa was hard, as if old, and made from a few ours instead of fresh. Not a good experience.

I was served by the sushi chef. She was very nice and knowledgeable. I got a spicy salmon roll and seafood udon. The sushi roll was good, and was a decent price. The udon was fresh, but wasn't my cup of tea. I'm not going to knock them for personal preference. I will come back and try something else.

I've been stopping in Sushi Box probably since the Costco opened down the road I don't know how many years ago and the food has been consistently good. The service can vary a little bit but, it has never been bad. This is a great place to stop for tasty reasonably priced sushi. Love the ginger dressing.
