The food was amazing. The staff was friendly and observant. The bill was good for how much you get. Like a restaurant in Washington I liked.

Very savory. Service is typically great. The bill was fair for the quality of the food. They have so many great reviews for a reason.

Cute restaurant on Davis. It has been a few different things, but Swan Dive is my favorite by far! French inspired with comforting, yet flawless execution. The croque monsieurs are scrumptious and really filling, we had the Mary and Bert with homemade sausage and caramelized onions. It was comfort food on a grey rainy day, just what we were looking for. The soups (french onion and carrot lemongrass coconut milk) were both amazing and different, but each rich and full of flavor. We ended with the pistachio eclair and the mango parfait. The eclair choux pastry was light as air, with the cream being the right consistency hit the right note.

We had the most delicious meal at Swan Dive for our anniversary. I had tender pot roast with carrots and garlic mashed potatoes. The Bavette salad is amazing and so incredibly fresh. The French onion soup is the best I have ever had! Wonderful intimate atmosphere and fantastic food!

We did the 3 course meal, it was superb!! My wife had trout, I had a beef thing. Our waiter was amazing and patient at explaining the menu items. What I loved most is how the cuisine came out looking good, but somehow surprised me with being even better. We both left satisfied.

The best sandwiches on the planet! The salad was delicious light vinaigrette it took nothing away from the rest of the ingredients. You're missing a great spot if you don't visit.

Food was amazing. Our waiter Chuck was attentive and very funny (and reminded us of the RC 100 jngle that my kids are still singing). We will be back for great food and friendly staff!

This is a hidden treasures for those who enjoy French cuisine. I eat here regularly with friends after the Lunch break Science series at the Science Museum of Virginia, located just across Broad Street. The food is always delicious, satisfying, and more than sufficient for me. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about items on the menu. Be sure to ask about daily specials which are not always posted. I brought my wife here after a movie at the Bowtie Cinema, only a few blocks away, and she agreed with my enthusiastic recommendation.

I found the entree very disappointing the pork chop was too well done tough to eat. Over spiced vegetables . The potatoes were good. These soup French onion was good. The creme brulee was fantastic. Would not be on my top ten restaurants to return to. Not a fabulous dining experience

Wonderful experience. Service was excellent. Top notch Cocktails . The 3 coarse offerings were both delicious and varied, allowing for variety of menu items. Rich, hearty and filled with traditional french flavor combinations. Some dishes offered creative twists on traditional recipes were complimentary.

Drinks were great, food was well done also. I am giving Swan Dive four stars because we had the Prix Fixe menu, and it seems they are more well known for the sandwiches (croques) which were not part of the Prix fixe menu, good as it was, it did lack a bit. I am sure if you go to their strength you won't be disappointed, service was great as well.

A French-bistro has been created in Richmond, with twists. Something as simple as a Salad Nicoise has been reinvested. The eggplant that stands in for the tuna is smoky, creamy and divine on the seeded crackers that come with the dish. I am excited about trying one of everything on the menu. And thank you for not making it pork-centric!
