It was very nice. Very different vibes from the other cafés in Richmond. I love the idea of using real teacups vs the plastic cups. The atmosphere was super warm and cozy. The drinks were super affordable.I was basic and ordered a latte with a chocolate croissant. The staff was nice though english wasn't their first language. They mainly spoke French and Spanish. I didn't mind. They were very kind and attentive. They only accepted cash. No cards.Only thing, i disliked was the staff touched my food without gloves or tongs.

Such a hidden gem in RVA! Cute and cozy cafe in Shockoe Bottom with an amazing assortment of teas and food. Staff is some of the kindest people I've met. They also have books and games for you to peruse while drinking your tea.

This is my favorite place in all of Richmond. The food is incredible, the tea is divine and the staff are amazing. This is the best place to go to warm up, relax, read a book or take a friend to chat. This cafe is truly a gem to the city and a gift to the neighborhood of Scott’s Addition.

We had a fantastic experience at the T.Caf! The staff was very attentive and helped us choose our teas, which we ended up loving. The food was a surprise hit! We ordered some canapés and a crepe and it was all delicious and the pastry crisp and light. While it was a little cold inside and we were the only ones in there the whole time, the shop was inviting and service warm. We will be back!

We held a birthday tea party here for 15 people across 3 generations. The food, the setting, the tea, the coffee, the staff — everything was just perfect! The space was warm and inviting (and it even included board games for us to play). The owner is lovely and easy to work with. We’re so happy that RVA has this fantastic spot!

We hosted a family birthday celebration here and it was just perfect. We had 3 generations of family members -- and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. The food was beyond delicious: fresh, creative, and reasonably priced. The staff were all lovely. The owner was so easy to work with in the planning of the party. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. They even had board games like Scrabble and Chess that we could enjoy while sipping our tea. What a gem in Richmond!

Went there for lunch with a friend, the food was awesome, the tea was nice as well. The issue I had was the tables in the second room where we ate in were too small (just big enough for a tea set) so you had to eat the food on plates in your lap.The staff was amazing, if a bit overloaded at times, it seems to be a two person team (my guess is owner & co-owner) and this led to my Salmon Canape coming out very late but it was tasty as well as the Goat Cheese & Feta Quiche I had.The room also could use some better insulation cause much to me and my friends chagrin a group of charged up office workers came in and started loudly talking & laughing at a level beyond inside voice (sadly something T.caf can't control) near the end of our meal.Overall this was fantastic and I will be back.

What a charming place! I felt like I had been transported to a European country! The tea and bites were delicious. Very relaxed friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back. A great place to take a friend or parent.

I worked ahead of our reservation with the restaurant staff to pick a menu that would accommodate a food allergy and they were fantastic. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and treated like royalty for our ladies tea party. When the chef visited our table and found out the birthday girl's favorite tea blend, she returned with a sweet packaged scoop of tea for the birthday girl! The food was excellent and the service friendly. We will definitely return!!

J'adore!!!! This is such a wonderful hidden gem, and very french. Great food on the petite-faim menu, I loved the teas I tried, and the owners are so kind! I enjoyed practicing my terrible French with the owners as well.

Charming, cozy and delicious. A gem of a place where I ended up spending hours with my sisters, from tea to lunch to wine. The owners are generous in their hospitality and talented in the kitchen!

What an absolute delight! We stumbled across this cafe when looking for a place to work and weren't sure what to expect. We were so pleasantly surprised by everything: the atmosphere (cozy), the delicious food (quiche, crepes, french toast), and wonderful coffee. The owners were so welcoming and kind, it felt like sitting down to work at my grandma's house. Somehow walks the line between being a great place for either a first date, a baby/bridal shower, or a study group.
