It was fine for my needs. Service was acceptable.

Craving ramen after a long time away from home. This place hits the spot after we’ve had some pretty pricey and not so good Asian food.
Tonkatsu ramen could do without the dab of chilli oil though.

What a delight! I had been wanting some great Ramen since we got back to the states from Thailand and this hit the spot.
I tried the veggie Ramen spicy however the tofu they offer is not firm so I did not prefer the tofu. I like my tofu burnt if I am eating it, not soft.
I also trued the cucumber salad and it was refreshing! I wanted more! We went during dinner time and it was getting crowded. Thankfully we were able to be seated right away.

Very friendly staff, delicious food. The Spicy Miso ramen was excellent, so was the Vegetable ramen. The server suggested asking for the spicy paste in the Vegetable ramen... That sounds incredible.

Amazing ramen and unmatched service! My husband and I LOVE Takara Ramen - it’s one of our favorite spots in the Short Pump area. I can’t get enough of the spicy miso ramen, and the takoyaki always comes out so hot and delicious!

I probably should’ve just gone with a bowl of ramen from the start. Instead, I ended up ordering two different side dishes and an okonomiyaki, which all seemed like pre-cooked items meant for quicker service. Unfortunately, that also meant they lacked the freshness and depth I was hoping for.

I got lucky enough to come across this spot on my last day in RVA and it exceeded my expectations! I tried their spicy miso ramen, soy garlic edamame, and shrimp tempura and everything paired deliciously! It’s a great casual lunch spot and seems like a great option for dinner & drinks too. The service was excellent too and I’ll definitely have to stop by again when I’m back next time!

I enjoyed the ramen and it was a nice place. However, I covered my food and drink and went to use the bathroom. I even asked where the bathroom was. Once I came back my table was cleared and someone else was sitting there. They threw away my food and I wasn’t even halfway done. Then they only gave me a 20% refund because the manager wasn’t there. They said I could get a call from them once they arrived but I was not going to be able to come back since I’m visiting from out of town. Very shameful.

Great Vibe, Service was awesome, and the food was Delicious. I had the Spicy Miso Ramen and my wife had the Tonkotsu they were both great, and the Mochi ice cream was good. Will definitely be back.
So for my very first time, I got the chicken noodle. Thinking I was getting one thing and then it wasn’t I was confused. My step daughter takes me and her dad in there!!! HOLY COW!! Highly recommend the classic ramen with chili oil on side. You can control the heat!
