This was my first time here. I came for $2 Taco Wednesdays. I arrived around lunchtime and I was pleased with the atmosphere and the customer service. I ordered 2 pollo al carbon (chicken) tacos, 2 chorizo (Mexican sausage) tacos, and 1 Al pastor (marinated pork) taco. The chicken was very dry and flavorless (I will not order that again). Let me just by far the best Birria tacos I’ve ever had. I’ve been there 3xs now and the consistency is amazing. Over the summer was my first experience and they had a homemade watermelon drink that was out of this world. Each time I go I get the Birria tacos and the broth is made perfect. Also, the rice is served in the broth which is very tasteful. No complaints and I’ll definitely continue to dine here.
The food, which is really the main point of attending most restaurants is way above the quality and flavor of food that you pay way more for at all of the local Tex mex places which seem to have taken a dive in the last four years. The service is consistently great and they are very patient with my poor Spanish-speaking abilities and are helpful with many suggestions. The restaurant is impeccably clean.
