While the service we received was excellent, the food was just okay. Have had better food there in the past, so maybe it was just a bad night.

There was a fan over table that was clicking and noticeable. Breakfast food was not what I expected. Average and not as flavorful. The grits had a strange taste as noted by me and another person at table and food was not hot. The soup was absolutely delicious along with cinnamon rolls. I believe there are plenty other dishes that are superb 👌 but the brunch experience was not what I expected. Still attend restaurant! Great atmosphere and has some food that are their staple.

I took my 95 year old mother for dinner after a Christmas Eve service at church. We arrived early for the reservation and only waited a short time in a not crowded foyer to be seated. We actually met friends from church having dinner with other family during the wait which made it go by pleasantly. We were seated in the enclosed and comfortable patio, important for an elderly lady who is generally cold in many venues The restaurant was busy but the wait was not long for the server. The order was promptly taken and refreshments quickly served. The tables were far enough apart for my mother to comfortably maneuver her rollator and for noise level to allow private conversations. My mother enjoyed her chicken pot pie. I delighted in my grilled scallops. They were nicely prepared and of great flavor. The server made sure that my sweet tea glass was filled during the meal. While we had generally avoided public restaurants for Christmas Eve, this far surpassed the two Christmas Eve dinner experiences in the last ten years which required 45 to one hour waits in extremely packed and noisy foyers. For the civility of the entire experience, I am rating it outstanding.

Restaurant was busy on Christmas Eve. Reservation was for a high top table but hostess pleasantly switched us to a regular table without us asking. Our Server was wonderful! Bar was very slow so drinks were late. Drinks ended up being free due to them being so late.

We arrived for a 6:00 reservation for Christmas Eve and we were told we would have to be seated on the patio, not in the main dining room. The whole purpose of the reservation was to be seated in the main dining room. The host acted like it was our fault for not being happy with where they were seating us.

We have come here the last couple of years for a Christmas party and have been served well. The staff is friendly and helpful and always willing assist wherever they can. The place is clean. The food is tasty and the portions are good. I would recommend this place for a party or gathering. It is a bit pricey, but the service is really great.

The staff was very flexible and accommodating. We had traveled over two hours from several directions to meet and this was a central location. We sat and visited for over an hour before we ordered and no one hurried us. We were able to linger after the meal as well. The staff was wonderful with just the right amount of service. Everyone ordered different meals and were happy with their food.

The food was overall decent. The temperature was cool. The dressing was horrible. Made from old, stale bread. This was not anything like the previous years.

Brittany was great. Food was very good. We were VERY disappointed in Management's unwillingness to make accommodations for dietary restrictions for one of our party, which made the experience far less enjoyable.

Thanksgiving was not great. Even the regular menu was low quality. Not sure why but wouldn't go there for a holiday time.

Thanksgiving dinner is always fun at Tarrant's West. Service was very good; turkey was rubbery and dry. All other food was good. Nice value.

We went there for Thanksgiving and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

This was our first time here. Though it was a little pricey, the food was delicious. We had the rockfish special, shrimp and grits, 1 bowl of clam chowder and 2 ice teas. Cost 105.00$ Yikes! Our server, Madison was absolutely tops. I suggest you ask for her. She was on top of things and answered all of our questions. She was perfection! We would come back🙂

When asked the hostess if we could have another table that was empty we were told it was reserved but it was exactly like the one she gave us just a different location but latter she accommodated some other group when asked. The filet I asked for medium rare was medium well the server did offer to redo it but we had a show to get to.

My husband and I went to Tarrant's West as part of Richmond Restaurant Week. Although the restaurant was quite busy, including a large private party, the service was very good and the noise level was not overly loud. The RRW options were nicely varied. We each ordered a different item in each of the 3 categories, and then split the items. Everything was delicious, with ample portions.
