This place is always great. My boyfriend and (very picky) parents love it too. Servers and bartenders are all really nice. Interior reminds me of some NYC restaurants, nice ambience and lighting. Food has been perfect for everyone every time (except I'm upset they took away the jackfruit entree). Great place for anyone to eat - meat eaters or vegans. With that jackfruit platter it was enough for me to have another full meal at home... Last time my boyfriend could not finish his lobster mac and cheese and we were stuffed trying to finish my oysters. Our cats also agreed the lobster mac was delicious. Not too loud, not too quiet. Probably my new fav place in Richmond.Vegetarian options: Delicious jackfruit options

I have loved Tarrant’s West for years! No matter when I visit both the food and service are excellent! I have visited the restaurant for personal enjoyment, hired them to cater an event, as well as hosted private work meetings. The level of care and professionalism is top tier. Melissa makes hosting an event seamless and will work with you on every detail. I can’t recommend this place enough!!

Went for our anniversary and had the nicest server. I didn't catch her name, but the ticket says Darien. She gave us a lovely, free dessert with a candle! We've been before but this felt just right for the occasion.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food, service and environment never disappointed me or my family. I just recently visited the restaurant this week and got a few cool shots of some meals so you know what to expect ? we ordered Three Cheese ravioli with vodka sauce and the catch of the day (rockfish) served with delicious pineapple based sauce, ashed potatoes and vegetables. Also got a delicious sangria. I would recommend this place to anyone and for any occasion - actually there was a Rehearsal Dinner taking place when we went and since their dinning room is so big, they had a dedicated space for that whole party (30+ people). Still the restaurant seemed nearly empty, so imagine how much room I'm talking about!Vegetarian options: Cheese Ravioli

The food was delicious. Prompt & friendly service by our server, Darien R.Dietary restrictions: Cannot consume most seasonings, including garlic. Darien made certain my needs were met.Parking: Easy, plenty of spaces. We dined on an early Monday evening. Weekend parking is probably a challenge.
This is the second time we’ve eaten here and had a poor experience. The first time, my husband was brought the wrong salad (his entree) by the time the correct salad was brought, I had finished my meal. This experience, the food was good but our waiter only came to the table once. He got our order and then never returned. Someone else brought our food from the kitchen and we flagged someone down for refills and a drink. Both times it’s taken over 2.5h.

Overall not a good experience.The food was subpar at best. As an out of towner I was expecting a nice dining experience. Drinks were overpriced, and took far too long to make to it to my table. Though these are factors, the customer service was abominable with the exception of wait staff. I find it utterly ridiculous that the attrition fee was $100, we reserved for 20. 13 showed due to unexpected sickness. The establishment was nearly empty and for the seats that were not used at our table it is utterly disgusting that we were charged this fee. After talking to staff about this issue we received a nasty and rude response. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone visiting the area, very disappointed.
