This was a cute spot that accommodated us easily despite being a busy day, and the service was efficient. The food left a bit to be desired though; everyone had some sort of bowl (baja vs. honey harissa). I had the shrimp baja bowl, and without the beans, it was just disproportionate amounts of rice, pickled onions, and kale. The flavor and portions were also lacking. The shrimp was excellent though, some of the best I've had, but I wish they gave more. One nice thing was that there were a lot of vegetarian options. However, all in all, I don't think I'll be revisiting.

I don't think I've ever had a bad dish at Tazza Kitchen. The atmosphere is very casual buy warm and inviting. We loved our server. She did everything possible to make our dining experience enjoyable. We will be returning.

We had a group dinner here last week. The service was exceptional. There were a variety of appetizers and dinners ordered. Most of the meals were very good. One exception was the pizza. The toppings were....sporadic. It was disappointing because I love wood fired pizza. I will probably try again.Parking: The best option is across the street.

Great variety offered. They serve a bit of everything so there is something for everyone. I met up with a friend and we ate at one of the high tables near the bar. Our waitress of top notch. My Margherita was PERFECT. I was so impressed with the balance of flavors. It's such a simple thing that so many restaurants don't get right - it shows their attention to detail. We tried the meatballs for an appetizer and they were delicious. The bread was perfectly crusty and warm. For dinner, I got the Baja bowl with salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly although I do wish it had more flavor. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend Tazza whether you are meeting up with friends, having drinks with coworkers, or even meeting up for a first date. It does get loud - so if you are looking for conversation with your friends or partner, I'd recommend coming in during the least busiest hours or asking for a corner table where you aren't in the middle of the room.

Food doesn't blow you away but is good if you're in the area or if you're trying to please a group of people with different tastes, as the menu has a good variety of different kinds of food. Atmosphere is modern and hip without being cliché. Service has always been professional and attentive on numerous visits.

First time here. Ordered Baja shrimp bowl. I feel like it came with boiled small shrimp. It was $13 pretty much and it wasn’t all that good at all. Five shrimp total. Person I was with ordered a hamburger that was dry. Tables are super close together and you can pretty much guarantee your sucked into the conversations on your left or your right which kind of sucks. i’m sure it’s me, but I would never go back here.

Both this and the short pump locations never disappoint! Always a great place for small groups and date night. I love that they have some outdoor seating as well. The cast iron goat cheese is amazing and I order it every time I go despite my lactose intolerance. I love good bread and they usually give me extra if I finish the first batch they provide with the goat cheese. The spaghetti squash is also something so unique most places don't have but it's really good. Their scallop risotto is good too but I wish it had more scallops. The service is also always great here all of the waiters are very friendly even when it gets super crowded. I've moved out of Richmond but I would come back just to eat here again!
