I must say that this gem of a place is awesome. I went today and sat at the bar. I ordered this fried crab croquettes and I also ordered the spicy ramen. It was delicious. The girl was very nice and her dad who is also the cook is very nice. They both engaged me in conversation and was just very polite. I can’t wait to take my family because we all love ramen. I used to pass this place all the time and I kept forgetting to stop in. I’m so happy i did. This maybe the best ramen spot in the city. 😎

The food was delicious, I got the tonkotsu shoyu ramen and my partner got curry rice with chicken. We shared gyoza as an appetizer that had the perfect crunch to it. The staff was very kind and attentive, and the chef even came out to ask how our food was. Great casual dining, I absolutely recommend!

My husband and I had an amazing dinner at Kabuto Jr Hibachi House in Richmond! The warm and cozy atmosphere reminded us so much of Japan, and the ramen was perfectly authentic, the fried rice delicious. Yutaka and Erika, the owners, were so welcoming. We shared how much we enjoyed Japan, appreciating every moment, and Yutaka, who’s from Japan, was happy to hear our experiences and he shared wonderful stories about his home. Highly recommend this gem for incredible food and warm hospitality!

Food was top tier, this is by far the best vegetarian ramen I've had in this city. The ginger salad dressing is made in house and you can tell, it's amazing. The service was so much more friendly than typical, and I will absolutely be coming back here as a regular.

The Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen and the Yakiniku were out of this world. Best ramen we've ever had! The staff was very sweet, friendly, and welcoming.

Absolutely amazing, very nice and homey. I’m shocked it’s not more popular to be honest. They always check in on you and make sure your order is right! 💪🏻💪🏻

I loved eating at this local spot. The owners were very friendly and eager to please. I had the shrimp hibachi. Generous amounts of shrimp, plenty of fried rice, and veggies were perfectly cooked.

The ramen bowls were very good but the language barrier between us and the staff made ordering exactly off the menu difficult. They brought my friend the wrong order and we accepted it because we had no clue what they were saying. Again the food was great

This ramen place was big surprise for our family. We stopped by to have a quick lunch when we passing by Richmond VA area. Surprisely, the food was really impressive and yummy. It was better than the ramen in NYC. I eat Japanese ramen in NYC quite often but this place tastes a lot better not salty with deep flavor. You should try this place when you are in the area. Will visit again.
