I'll start with the positives. The decor and vibe of the restaurant is fun and colorful. The empanadas tasted good. Kids chicken quesadilla was a good portion and the chicken tasted good. My carne asada loca with rice and plantains were pretty good as well. I do like very much that they offer both tostones and sweet plantains (with sour cream! Yum). My partner got the steak torta which he said tasted fine but didn't think it should be priced at $15, esp because the steak was thrown in there versus being chopped up (that was a first for me too, usually it's chopped up). The salsa for the chips was good however the chips didn't taste as fresh as I'd like. Food did not take long to arrive once we finally got to place our order. The drink I got was pretty good, they have a pretty big list of cocktails. It was listed as a Brazilian drink. I'm interested in trying a couple different ones. So overall, I liked the food.Cons.. it was our first time there and honestly we were just about to leave when the waiter finally made an appearance. We were seated promptly by the host but the waiter didn't get to us until 10-15 minutes later so we just sat there wondering if we'd been forgotten. The couple who got there after us got their drink and chips before we did. It was annoying to say the least. Our waiter wasn't absolutely horrible but he definitely should consider being more attentive and have a sense of awareness. Once the food came out the waiter didn't appear again until he gave us the check. Didn't ask at any point if we needed anything else, how the food was or if we wanted dessert. There were times we'd see the waiter and his coworker sit down and chat for a couple minutes (although she actually was a little more attentive to her table). When we left they were outside chatting it up. So my theory is that they just don't know how to be attentive to the customers. My daughter spilled a drink on the table and the waiter offered to move us to another table but it took a random coworker to come over to offer napkins (kudos to whoever she was). The table was getting pretty full but he never took any of the empty/dirty plates.I will say I saw several of the employees who were busy working and were being good team players. Some even had smiles on their faces which was nice to see. So I have mixed feelings about the service because not all the staff is... lacking. Hopefully our waiter was just having an off day, he never said what his name was.I'd go again but maybe during lunch and a different waiter. The menu was a bit diverse.

My favorite place to eat by far! The food is fantastic, the portions are generous, the staff is kind and the atmosphere is amazing. The hardest part is choosing what to eat!

The best thing on the menu is the table side fresh made guacamole. Everything else was below average - the corn tortillas were clearly Mission brand & not made in house. The slaw on my shrimp tacos tasted like a coleslaw mix from a bag. The margarita was okay. Don't waste your money.

The food was laughably horrible. I mean the most mediocre plate of tacos and queso fries I’ve ever seen. My niece literally could not eat it. & they refused to replace the food. Yeah I honestly wouldn’t even feed my dog that food it was horrible.

our waiter was very attentive at the start, but slowly faded away lol, now the food the good: yuca fries and those egg rolls ?. now the not so good the main dishes, everything has potential but it just needs more seasoning that's all in my own opinion, but with that said this place has great potential and I'm definitely going back to try there happy hour

We thought we would try this place because it looked cute / fun. But the food was terrible. I got a taco salad and the lettuce was completely old. It was transparent. There was no flavor in the meat. My husband got the fried fish tacos and they tasted terrible. I don’t know what was up with the fish but it had a strong, fishy taste.

I wish I could put zero stars, worst experience my family has ever experienced. We arrived on reservation for 7 at 6:30. Less than half of the tables were full, not busy by any means. Our “waitress” told us they were having system issues. Still not sure why that affected our drinks and food from being made. Our food arrived around 8pm after multiple comments to the staff. Drinks took 20 minutes at least to arrive to the table as well as guacamole. One of our members did not even receive his food at all. We finally told them to forget it, it was too late. The young “waitress” was laughing with the staff when we complained and no one had any good excuse as to why the service was so poor other than “our system is down.” Finally after much effort we got our bill taken down by half, but not without argument. I understand if the place is full capacity, but even then, if you’re system is down figure out how to make it work or don’t take customers if it is that bad. Communication is key and it could have been handled much more professionally.
