Ordered thru Uber Eats. Specifically ticked the box to request utensils etc. Order came without utensils. We are in a hotel with food and no way to eat it!!!
If the Uber eats option to request utensils was not available we would have skipped this place and looked for some other option.
Had to drive to a convenience store and arrange for plates and forks etc. Defeating the whole premise and benefit of ordering delivery.
Good food, but absolutely ruined evening thanks to ignoring basic instructions.

This is a pleasing little restaurant in the historic Jackson Ward section of the city. It’s a nice date spot, lunch, or family dinner. Wonderful place to give your taste buds a new sensation of fresh flavors. I got my orders to go but the gentleman who took our orders walked us through the menu and helped us decide on some good options. I would recommend the appetizer sampler. And I’ll definitely be going back to try some of their juices.

Nice lil spot to eat lunch at. Portions are portioned, none to take home. Bathrooms and window sills need a good cleaningā€¼ļøā€¼ļø

Ordered for delivery since I wasn’t feeling great and heard good things about this place. Overall pretty basic and underwhelming food. The pad see eaw tasted like it was barely cooked, no charcoal on the noodles and the sauce was very fishy and watery so they didn’t cook it long enough to caramelized. The fried calamari was annoying since they combined two orders into one and the breading had a weird distinct mozzarella cheese stick taste. I would not recommend this place when other Thai places excel for the same price point.

Our food was excellent. The rice was cooked to perfection. Service was fast. And to my delight they do not use the same oil for cooking egg rolls as they do for cooking shrimp. I meant to take a picture of our food when it came to the table but after the first bite, it was gone. Yummy for my tummy award!

Beautiful setting and even better food.

Food was excellent. Service was adequate, but I agree with others that said attention was on the low end, despite there being very few other tables. Main reason for this review was that chilled bottled water was brought to table, the cheap/thin plastic bottle type (fine), but then we were charged $1.50 each for them, with no disclosure or notice. That bottle is 15 cents at Walmart, so a 10X fee in lieu of just serving tap water seemed dubious, and felt like chintzy profit-taking, not to mention the plastic waste generated. Why should unaware customers have to ask if water is free?

I was asked what number I wanted on their ā€œHotness Scale,ā€ 1-5. It being my first time, I chose, 3, thinking Medium. When I got it home, it was too HOT 🄵 for us to eat! I called the restaurant and it seems that I should have chosen, 1! He said he’ll compensate me when I return. I went today, Good Friday, and they were closed.šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

Our party of 4 was seated immediately but waited over 30 mins for our food, with the server not really checking in on us during the entire duration. We were also given two joint tables when we could’ve sat at just one, especially since there were other parties waiting to be seated that ended up just leaving.

When the food arrived, the cabbage and vegetables in the tom kha soup were still very crunchy and undercooked. Another friend also ordered the tom yum with chicken instead of shrimp but it was still served shrimp in the end. The pad thai and mango tilapia were delicious at least and I have no other complaints about the food!

The restaurant also serves plastic water bottles instead of glasses, which was fine until we were charged for them on our receipt when we thought it would be free like any other place.

I might have just been hangry at the time, but I might explore other food options in Richmond before returning back here.

Thai Studio is excellent. Our favorite in Richmond and possibly of all the thai restaurants we've tried in the states. My MIL said outside of Thailand it's the best she's had (and I would agree as well). The flavors are incredible, and they nail it every time. Just go and you won't be disappointed.

Very nice. Tofu fresh rolls are great.
