First went here for my anniversary and the service and food were exceptional. Tyler is especially very positive and remembered us during our second visit which was months later! One of the nicest environments to be in that will leave you with a big smile and a happy stomach 10/10 everything (especially the sha-bang bang shrimp)

This resturant is the perfect mixture of good music, good food and great service. I would recommend Tyler for his amazing service and ability to recommend items to try on the menu. My girlfriend and I will definitely be back.

Traveling on I-95 we took a break at the Children's Museum of Richmond with one of our grandchildren. Two hours later, we're all hungry and very happy to find The Boiling Crab just TWO blocks away. Excellent food, great service, and a nice atmosphere in one of Richmond's many older and renewed buildings. Stop and enjoy! We plan to return on one of our frequent I-95 RDU/DC/ColumbiaMD trips!

This is my favorite sea food restaurant in RVA. Girl with blonde hair always helps us out and is the sweetest :) we always get the cluster of crabs, shrimp, and oysters and it’s always 10/10. I always bring visiting family here as well, it’s a must try.

Not bad for being landlocked so far from the shore. ~V. ?️

Unexpected surprise Southern-style seafood boil this close to VCU campus! $10 meal specials for students w/ ID. Tender, juicy Andouille sausage and Old Bay seasoning slow-cooked to perfection.

First time here and it will be my last. The menu is a la carte there is no bag option and you don't know the cost unless you ask because the menu doesn't have the prices. The food was ok but not really anything to brag about. I was disappointed for the price. The potatoes were the smallest I have ever seen. I've never seen dime size potatoes used in a crab boil. They gave me more but just never seen one regular potatoe and then two dime size potatoes in a bag. The food didn't all come out together. This place is over priced and under performs.

Had a wonderful dinner here at the Boiling Crab. Cera our waitress was a sweetheart and took her time explaining all our different options. She was very enthusiastic and a joy to talk to. The quality of the seafood was also good, and the Shabang sauce was my favorite.
Tyler the manager was very professional and super kind. He made sure to introduce himself and made sure our experience was amazing!

Great hospitality, great food, what could go wrong?

Went to the Curtner Road location in San Jose. They had no water, their system was "down." They had no non-alcholic bottled drinks, only beer. We're not beer drinkers. So we had to eat our dinner without anything to wash it down with. Nothing was offered to make up for the lack of drink. And since there was no water, we couldn't even wash our hands after eating. Do you think I'll ever get my wife to a Boiling Crab again?

This restaurant was delicious!! I have tried multiple seafood boil restaurants and this one beats them all!! Their seasoning is not salty at all just very flavorful and juicy. Their food is more pricey but because they have quality seafood and it’s very worth their price!! The snowcrabs, crawfish and mussels were big!!! And the staff was sooo welcoming and sweet!! I will definitely be coming back!!

This was my first time at The Boiling Crab. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was very good....especially the crablegs! I recommend the crablegs, of course, fried scallops and mussels. I'll definitely be back!
