I want to say that the server “D”(I can’t remember her exact name) was so attentive and great!! Kudos to her for the great service she provided to us even though she wasn’t our server.

I'm a regular at The Boiling Crab DC location, but the Richmond location absolutely blew me away! The seafood boil was incredible - so delicious and just as amazing as I remembered. The flavors were on point and the quality was consistently excellent.
What really made this visit special was Des, who seated us and took our order. She was phenomenal! Even though she was clearly swamped helping so many tables, she never missed a beat. She was always prompt, super nice, and somehow stayed ahead of everything. Her energy and attentiveness made the whole experience that much better.
The Richmond location not only matches the quality I love from DC but honestly surpasses it with the service. Des deserves major kudos - she's a 10/10 and a huge asset to the team. If you're in the area, definitely check out this location. You won't be disappointed!

Classic seafood house vibe with varied, themed menu. Serviceable cocktail and draft menu. Reasonable, savory portions properly prepared. Pleasant and efficient wait staff. Back of house apparently knows their job, as well. Definitely a dining compliment to the RVA food scene.

The staff was so nice and welcoming. We had crab legs, shrimp corn and sausage it was so delish. Also had the fried catfish and wings. Everything was so good and freshly made.

Went Sunday to hopefully enjoy some snow crab legs and the NFL game. It was empty to my surprise. I was the first person in there at 1pm. The food was cooked very good, but the service was exceptional. From the manager to my server. All I ask that I get a little more crabs legs for that price. 😬 Ended up paying $60 bucks for a LB of snow crab legs, a scallop basket, 2 corn ear buds, and a Modelo, and a half and half drink.

We made a decision to come here last minute since our original place didn’t work out. SO happy we did! The service was great and the food was tasty. Praying they start getting the traffic they deserve at this location.

Dining at The Boiling Crab was a great experience from start to finish. Our server Jaymia was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the entire menu. Making my wife feel at ease and providing creative suggestions. When she ordered her boil, Jaymia told us the story of how the boil was made. It added a layer of appreciation to an already delicious boil. We can't recommend this place enough. We’ll be back!!!

Caught between time and space, heaven and hell, and four lanes of light-to-light traffic, I found myself under the bright lights of The Boiling Crab, where my life (and taste buds) were changed forever.

The crawfish was so fresh that I could have sworn the incorrigible crustacean was talking to me. Maybe it was my wife (not pictured), I couldn’t say. All I know is this, The Boiling Crab is wonderful, a deep sea dive into the mouthwatering oceanic culture that Poseidon himself would find worthy of his sea domain. Apparently he’s also the god of horses, but they seem to bury that lede. Anyway, SPRINT to this establishment. HURRY!
