Workers here will not properly handle if you get assaulted at a show !! First off one the bouncers immediately started getting on my friends about using the bathroom together…. He threaten to kick us out ?! he can do this but is too “busy” when one of us tries to report an verbal/physical assault that happened the same night, IN AND OUT of the establishment!!!maybe if the worker took the time to ID this guy , we wouldn’t feel they need to go in groups to the bathroom.very disappointed by this and will not be coming back and supporting this establishment.

Just warning other young women to be really careful here! Bouncers/staff won’t support you if you are assaulted, instead they will provide little to no help at all :( truly sad to see such a good venue be such a let down.

Bouncers have a horrible, disgusting attitude. I was and still am astonished. Not only did he talk to me like that, but every single one of my friends. We were just trying to have a fun night out and were being totally respectful. I get that its a busy place but that is not how you talk to paying customers who are literally doing nothing. The Camel is not worth your money, stay away from here!! Not only was the bouncer rude and way out of line, my friend was assaulted and they didn't seem to even bat an eye. So extremely disappointed. I found other review’s online saying the same. I wonder what kind of people run this establishment. There are plenty of other establishments that are worth your money.

I have had a great time seeing concerts here. It sounds good and the drinks are shockingly cheap compared to dc prices. It does get uncomfortably crowded which moving around the venue nearly impossible at times.

The Camel is one of my favorite places to see a show, the space is intimate, you get to interact with the bands. The staff are top notch in terms of friendliness and professionalism. I found the prices reasonable, though I did not eat the menu looks pretty good.

I went to the Trapcry and Girlspit show Saturday night and had an amazing time. I've been wanting to come to this venue for a long time now and was excited to finally check it out. It's an incredible spot! There is a flattering soft light in the venue and it's really clean. There was a lot of space so it didn't feel like it got too crowded. Cover was $15 for the show. I love the aesthetic of this space. The art up on the walls is a nice touch. Ordering a drink at the bar doesn't take too long. The service was good. I ordered a PBR for about $4. You're able to go outside and come back in if you want (they stamp your hand when you buy the ticket). I loved how close it was to a bus stop. I highly recommend coming for a show here.

I enjoy this venue however they have a mouse or rat problem big time. We were at a show a few weekends ago and I watched one giant rodent run past my feet into their kitchen.... very alarming. I brought it up to staff they didn't seem too worried. I hope they are aware but I wouldn't eat anything from here...I do enjoy the shows and venue is really nice how it is split off and they have the outside area and you can go in and out as you please !

Went for a small concert. Didn't get any food Doesn't have a lot of parking, but it's still a great spot. All parking is on the street.

This is a bar that supports live local music. The beer is cold. The burger I had was fantastic. Hearing local musicians, even better.
