I'm not sure how this place for a high 4 rating on Google. This is a pitiful place on the cap to cap trail. Hang on to get to Rocket's Landing in Richmond or Cul's in Charles City. We came in and no one was there to greet us. There was a blackboard of menu items... At least half were breakfast items. Maybe 4 or 5 lunch options. There only drinks were bottles or cans. No fresh brewed iced tea or ice water. You're on a bike trail... No water to refill water bottles, no salty snacks... Except a few bags of Doritos. We ordered turkey tacos and a ham and cheese wrap. The tacos were okay, but the wrap was just ham and cheese. No lettuce or any other veggies. The bathrooms were disgusting.. old, dirty and small. Soap dispenser in the ladies room was broken.

If you are riding the Va Capital trail and you need to stop for food, water or bio break, this is your spot. I stopped in today for a late lunch and had the turkey taco's. You get 2 in an order and your choices of flour or corn tortillas. It comes with 2 slices of delicious watermelon. A nice staff and plenty of free parking.

Look at some ecclectic local art, jewellery, scarves, sculptures, and even an autographed photo of that little kid on the Munsters while listening to a record player humming 70s pop on vinyl. The food is made by a friendly lady that will remind you of your mom, and gives good traveling tips. The food is made with love; homemade breakfast and lunch sandwiches that you can eat outside and wave at the bicyclists cruising down the trails. Really chill atmosphere, and I saw there's an old newspaper on the wall about this place that was inked in 1988. If you want a place to park and ride your bike, this is a great spot. I think the VA historical society helped preserve this place, because it was abandoned for years. It's great to see it open for business again.

Such a cute little gem hidden along the Route 5 corridor. They serve breakfast, brunch and lunch ! Delicious sandwiches, tacos, soup let's not forget breakfast! Always a special of the day! Did I mention the amazing antiques, unique gifts, jewelry and artwork from WNDY Hill Gallery? The owner Candy is such a sweetheart and owner of WNDY Hill is too! If you are looking for a unique spot with amazing food look no further! One of my favorite little getaways when I want to stroll down Route 5. You can eat inside or relax on the covered porch, you can even ride your bike since it's right alongside the Cap to Cap bike trail. Prices are very reasonable and the gifts are too! Definitely check this place out if you are in the area!
