I’ve had better Po’ boys in county jail. I tried to take a picture of it to post here but it broke my camera. Literally the worst sandwich I have had in my entire life. Service was cool and the beer was beer though

We must have beat the lunch crowd as we were seated immediately. Not busy. Ordered breakfast. Nice portions. Very tasty.

Never have I ever written a review while I was still at the table finishing my food but here we are... The hostess was friendly. We were seated immediately during peak dinner hours. The waitress was prompt and friendly. The food came out fast and was also very delicious, and even the runner who brought us the food was friendly. We will definitely be back!!

Not as good as it once was. The grits were unappetizing; some years ago they were the best I ever had. The country ham seem like it had been setting on the grill for hours -- it looked old. And of course the booths, with the vertical backs and hard wood, are are most uncomfortable.

Good food and a lot of it! The Grill might seem low-key at first glance, but don’t let that fool you—the food is actually really solid. Just make sure you bring your appetite, because the portions are huge.

I ordered the cod tacos with mango, zucchini fries, and coleslaw, and I was genuinely impressed. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared. I had hoped to mix and match the tacos (one pork and two cod), but they only allow one protein choice per order of three—not a dealbreaker, just something to note.

Everyone else in our group enjoyed their meals too. This was the third restaurant we tried for dinner in the Richmond area, and honestly, if you’d shown me all three beforehand, The Grill probably would’ve been my last pick. But surprisingly, it turned out to be the best of the bunch.

A pleasant surprise and definitely worth checking out.

Always friendly. The food is good. The wait staff is always super. Prices are very reasonable. If you order tater tots, be hungry or share with a friend. They do need to work on the French toast on the Monte Cristo. It can out a little soggy. Otherwise, they are terrific.

We ordered the Monte Cristo, Caesar salad, and chicken tenders and they were all good. My son is super picky about his tenders and he ate a huge plate of them. The service was fast and friendly. We had our doggo with us on the porch. He was also treated very well.

The Grill is a delightful mix of sports bar and American pub food. The portion sizes are no joke - I recommend coming hungry, prepared to share, or just going ahead and asking for that to-go box because you're going to have leftovers. I highly recommend their phenomenal mozzarella triangles! The staff is always friendly and accommodating. There's a variety of seating areas from high tops with great TV views, a pet-friendly outdoor patio with shade on one side and open on the other, booths for more private dining, and a cute little enclosed sunroom. The only downside is that when it's peak basketball/football/college season, parking in the area is a bit rough, but 100% worth it, even if you have to walk a bit.

This place is one of the hidden treasures of this town. The food portions are big, the staff are friendly and you can always see the manager walking around engaging with his staff and customers.
