My husband and I ate at The Hard Shell and selected from the Richmond Restaurant Week menu. There was a lot of variety on the menu. We each chose different items from each of the three categories and split each item. Everything was delicious. The only negative comments are that the she crab soup and rockfish portions were quite small, but we realize that this may be because these were RRW items. Last night my wife and I had the fried oyster and mussel appetizers, lobster tail and filet and lobster tail and crab for entrees. We finished with cheese cake and chocolate mousse. Everything was exceptional. I highly recommend the downtown Hardshell.
Another fantastic dining experience at the Hard Shell. Our bartender Aubrey was extremely personable, prompt and a joy to interact with. Our server Ali was well versed on the menu, courteous, and provided a most enjoyable dining experience. Once again, the Hard Shell has proven that customer service and delicious food are a guarantee. Also, the restaurant week menu was plentiful and an amazing value!
