The Lily pad is one of the rare waterfront restaurants in Richmond and it is a gem. It used to be a dive, but new renovations ( and price hikes) have made it a much nicer place to visit. I give it a 4/5 because they use single use plastic. PLEASE lily pad... get rid of the single use plastic!!

Worst shrimp po boy in my life. Giant leaf of lettuce, not shredded; overcooked and dry tiny shrimp, not Cajun fried or fresh; I'm not certain what other garbage was on it...but I didn't taste any ramulaude, just Peppers and pickles. Two bites, then trashed...major disappointment.

Pound cake gud ,cheese steak,pig feet ,yam and I wish they has variety cakes or banana pudding, mac and cheese is ok ,I want fried chicken or rib next times.. Do u deliver???

My husband and I found this cute lil restaurant while trying to decide what we wanted to eat before checking into our hotel for the night. The place is very nice and the staff are super friendly. We were able to check out our food before we’re left and it was pleasing to our eyes. Once we’re got to our hotel, we tried our food and it was delicious!!! He tried frog legs and he was speechless. I ordered the meatloaf and trust me I normally will not eat anyone’s meatloaf but my dad’s or my own but this meatloaf was fantastic!! We will be back!

I ate my food so fast I don't have any left to show. The fried chicken crust was perfect. make sure when you come here you have some time to wait. everything is dropped fresh.

This week, while coming back from getting groceries at Lidl, I saw a new restaurant banner over by the ABC store on Brook. I investigated, and it's called Lily Pad. Well, I just got back from lunch with a buddy, and IT WAS AMAZING! Affordable, southern food! My buddy and I always love when a meal comes in at $10 a person, and this place was spot on. I followed my buddies lead and got the whiting, and while I probably shouldn't have done it, I ate it all! We somehow ended up with one of their bread puddings, and it was the best I've had in a long while. If you can, give this place a try. I can't wait to go back!

I’ve been here 4-5 times. I love this place. Food is great, waitresses are great but last night while eating dinner the table next to me decided to fire up a big joint and the smell of that hung around our table while we were eating dinner. Not cool. Not cool at all. I’d like to suggest to the management that you ask your guests to smoke their stuff in the corral next to the entrance but NOT bring it into the dining area while others are trying to enjoy our meal. We waited an hour and 15 minutes to get in there last night and then had our meal ruined by some individuals who were totally inconsiderate. You need to get that stuff under control. Now.

I ordered the fried chicken dinner w Mac and cheese and greens. The chicken was definitely the best part. The skin was crispy and flavorful! Very friendly people inside the restaurant as well. I will be back when I'm in the area :).

The shrimp po boy was amazing. Shrimp cooked perfectly— juicy and still had a fry on it. I like the sauce that came with the sandwich. The BONUS was the bread. Super soft but held together. I’ll be back!
