The Mantu is a great restaurant in Cary town! Their food was delicious and season well! The service was very nice, even when there was a little mishap with the yogurt sauce. They were very kind and accommodating! Definitely a must stop if you’re in the area!

Food is amazing, great portion for the price, very delicious and fresh, just consider it might be a bit spicy for some people if you have very low or no tolerance for hot spices.
Waiters were a bit confused and angry or annoyed for some reasons I didn't understand (maybe they had a bad day) and served us with a lot of attitudes. But the owner on the other hand showed us exceptional customer service, came to us and handled the situation very politely and professionally. Just because of him I recommend this restaurant. We had couple of people in our group with no tolerance for hot spices and the owner kindly readjusted the food and made it again for us.
Also, I definitely recommend the afghan dessert after your food, it was amazing, super delicious, and it's fantastic with a tea on the side.
I also read the story of the owner (which I recommend you to read it too) and after I learned about him a bit I admired him much more.
Great atmosphere, gave me a great sense of comfort.
In conclusion, this restaurant is definitely recommended, specifically if you like it spicy, this would be your favourite location to go.

Parking: In the night it was plenty of spots available but the situation might be different in the day time when all the stores are open in the plaza.

I recently had an unforgettable dining experience at Mantu Restaurant with my family. The dishes were nothing short of amazing! Each bite was packed with flavor, and the presentation was beautiful. They prepare better kabobs however the rice is ugly not even close to Afghan rice. Chopan kabob was wonderful thu but too pricey, Small portion amount of rice and kabobs no naan included and no salad.

Highly recommend! Took my wife here for her Birthday to try something different. Extremely tasty food. You can tell the food is organic and authentic.

Honestly, the only negative was that the waitress couldn't help me decide between a Mantu or the Eggplant.

Went with the eggplant and zamarut pillow, with garlic naan. Couldn't finish my plate, it was very filling. Highly recommend, as it was as delicious as it was filling.

Mantu in Carytown is an absolute hidden gem!

We tried the Baked Potato Karahi, which was nothing short of excellent, perfectly cooked with bold flavors.

The SEEMYAN was another highlight, packed with rich, authentic taste and beautifully presented.

We also had the Beef Kobihda Karahi, which was super tender, juicy, and delicious.

Beyond the incredible food, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.

Chef Noori made the experience even better with his infectious smile and warm personality, which you can feel in every dish.

His attention to detail and love for cooking shine through, making Mantu a must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic Afghan cuisine.

Wow, I wish I had taken more pictures! My first visit to this restaurant and it definitely will not be my last. The food was excellent, the service was great. Really enjoyed the atmosphere as well.

Parking: There was plenty of parking on a Wednesday night when I was there for 5:30pm reservation.
