The food quality has fallen off so hard in the past year it’s disturbing. Service was poor and new management is poor. Will not be going back.

I’ve tried to order from this location before work on multiple occasions at least 25min prior to arriving. Each time I’ve done so my smoothie bowl has either not been prepared or I have to wait for the employee to come from the back which usually takes forever. Please put a bell or something at the front so customers are not waiting.

Disappointed that this was $13.00 for ONE piece of bread. It had a nice flavor, but it is spicy. I would recommend if the serving portion was bigger/2 slices of bread.

For all you health nuts out there, I suggest giving The Pit and The Peel a try! This açaí bowl and juice spot is full of healthy, nutritious options that are made fresh from locally sourced ingredients. Everything taste so good, that eating well is way more fun! This location is in the Fan District which a calm, earth atmosphere thats perfect for going to grab a bite of food with a friend or going to read or get work done o your own. The menu includes juices, flavor shots, açaí bowls and smoothies. They have have lots of tasty food items on the menu, such as sandwiches, wraps, flatbreads, salads, and breakfast. My personal favorite is the Chopped Salad & Banana Berry Smoothie. If you're hosting a party or get-together soon, Pit & Peel offers catering options. Between their breakfast platter, wraps, salads, and sandwiches. Any of their foods is sure to please a crowd!

Stopped by for a lunch during attending a training workshop at Omni hotel. Food and smoothie were great, but wait time was too long. Only two persons were taking orders plus preparing food.

I've been here 2 or 3 times already and service/ food is subpar. I normally order the bees knees or house bowl. They were out of the house base, so had to go with the other fruit bowl base but asked for house toppings. They were also out of honey. When I got my bowl it also was missing the peanut butter. I also ordered the matcha drink iced. They forgot to make it because I had to go up and ask and I was already half way through eating my bowl. My matcha was gross. It was just straight up all milk, no flavor at all. The only thing going for this place is the roof top upstairs which is nice.

I used to love this place. Then they changed their menu. Then they were constantly out of something. Then they refused cash (way past prime covid times when that was common). Every time I stop by there is always something that doesn't quite go right. I get the feeling this place isn't doing well overall. It used to be very crowded at lunch, now there are only a few trickling in. I still order as it's one of a few places that doesn't limit fast food to high carb options. But it's not the same.

The açaí bowls are my favorite thing here! So delicious and the staff is super friendly and fast!

Overpriced. But we expected this as it's located inside the Omni Hotel Plaza. There were not many other options open that day. We ordered a quesadilla, pizza, acai bowl, shake and coffee. The bowl was tasty but sadly small for the price. Our side of chips were stale. The extra salsa for the quesadilla was an additional charge. Considering nothing else was open in the area, this was a decent option, but it could've been better. If you're really hungry, I'd try to find something else.

Wow, we were completely taken for $200 for a horrible Mixology class tonight. No doubt it was a fire code problem to stuff 60+ people at a crazy table arrangement. Completely unsafe and a ripoff. The instructors were doing their best but seriously, why did they demonstrate how to make basic drinks, like a tequila sunrise? What does that have to with the holidays? The demonstrations could have been a YouTube video. The whole thing was weird that we've chalked up to being a good story. Sharing here to warn others to ask questions before paying for future events/classes here. Whoever is deciding how to do these things is not thinking about the customer experience.

They do not honor their published closing times. Walked here and arrived at 2:40 to see a “closing early” sign with an employee inside vacuuming and the door locked.
