The Riviere ( The Honey Drizzle )

I went on a Saturday around noon. Apparently, tables are reservation only with open bar. Not certain if that's standard or because of the timing.

I got the shrimp and grits, which was pretty good overall. A bit heavy handed on the Cajun seasoning but a decent sized portion.

It quickly became very packed and the music was quite loud, so probably not the best first date spot.

I prefer a bit more relaxed vibe generally so, this wasn't really my cup, but if you're open to a black friendly atmosphere that's very lively, you might dig it. The food is good.

This was a horrible experience. They didnt have anything that was on the menu. No turkey sausages, no onions, no salomon and there frozen machines was broken. I really only had the option to order bacon and eggs. My eggs was disgusting. I had to send them back. The bacon came in a bowl crushed up. Maybe it equal up to 2 pieces, but I doubt it. Absolutely horrible 🤮

The food was cold, potatoes looked like dog food, we waited 30 minutes to get food. Manager was disrespectful and didn’t care about our concerns, she’s not fit to be a manager, she told us that the restaurant wasn’t for us, what a horrible attitude to have. I’m give her to Jesus and He’ll work it out

BEST PANCAKES i’ve ever had!! and i’m a waffle lover. The pancakes have the perfect outside crisp and melt in your mouth center. The sides are a bit small for the $20 you pay, however if you get pancakes they’ll fill you up and the portion of the side won’t matter.

Loved the vibe here and the food was AMAZING! I got the waffle platter and added grits as a side (the best cheesy grits I have ever had!)and my husband got the steak and egg sandwich with Mac and cheese and we got the fry’s on the house!! Perfectly made fry’s with the perfect crunch. I couldn’t stop eating my husbands food especially that Mac and cheese! His was toooo goood!! Last but not least, they have mimosa flights! I love sweet and fruity drinks and that’s exactly what I got! Cute presentation as well! Very friendly servers/staff with the best music! I found out that they do paint and sip events with a DJ as well (and I will definitely be there!)

Walking into The Riviere, my husband and I were greeted with the sounds of uplifting gospel music playing in the background. I wasn't having the best morning, but that simple touch immediately brightened my day and began turning it around. What truly made our experience special, though, was Jah.

Whoever raised Jah deserves all the credit because they raised him RIGHT! His impeccable manners and that charming country accent made our visit so enjoyable. Jah's customer service was above and beyond. He wasn't just polite—he was genuinely kind and attentive.

What really warmed my heart was when, before we left, Jah asked if there was anything he could be praying for us about this week. That small, heartfelt gesture meant the world to my husband and me. It's not every day you meet someone like Jah, and we need more young adults like him in this world!

Oh, and let’s not forget the food—absolutely amazing! The combination of great food, stellar service, and such a positive atmosphere will definitely bring us back to The Riviere. Thank you, Jah, for turning our day around and making our visit unforgettable!

We didn’t even stay for food. We went in and sat down. I notified a consistent beeping behind the bar. The host didn’t try to stop it and when we addressed it with him, he said it doesn’t stop that it’s the phone or the waffle maker. We said we would have to leave then & he just laughed. Super disappointing.
