This cozy corner spot is a place that feels like it’s always been here. The room is warm and hums with laughter and clinking glasses. The plates are perfect to be shared- or guarded fiercely!
Oh, and the warm fig cake gave me a spirited awakening.

Our first experience at The Roosevelt exceeded expectations. We've been in the Richmond area for almost a year and are now asking ourselves why we didn't come here sooner! The Pork Butt Pot Roast was fantastic, possibly the most tender pork we've ever had and the flavors were perfect. Also got the Beef Tenderloin which was great. So many other great choices on their menu to try, we will definitely be returning soon. The atmosphere was very friendly and very comfortable; it was busy and kind of noisy at times but not crazy loud. I would rate the service as great but not exceptional. It met expectations. Overall this is one of our best dining experiences in RVA and it's only 5 minutes from where we live 😄. We will be returning soon and highly recommend everyone else check it out!

Delicious and creative dishes, and fantastic service from Kat! I have celiac, and this is a great place to dine safely. Tons of gluten-free options. I had the beef tartar with mini potatoes, and an apple salad with persimmon butter. I can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful dining experience at The Roosevelt last night. Everything was perfect: decor, drinks, staff and of course, the food. The brisket, stuffed peppers and wings were a great way the start the evening. Don't miss out on the Rattlesnake if you're looking for a different drink experience. There's a smokey flavor that's absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. Book with confidence. You won't be disappointed.

We started sharing some cornbread which was crmbly but so fresh and the maple butter was really nicely done. Not overly sweet but woth a hint of the maple syrup. My husband enjoyed the Tenderloin which was cooked perfectly and the presentation was spot on. I ordered small plate of brisket stuffed poblanos and a fresh take on ceaser salad. Nice portions, just the right amount and we both enjoyed a nice dark lager.
