The Roosevelt is a Church Hill staple. Food is always seasonal and fresh, the cocktails are delicious (they make their own soda in house), and the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. The chef even sent out an order of fried green tomatoes which were tasty.

We were looking for somewhere to celebrate our anniversary last minute. Originally planning on visiting Alewife, which we love, we decided to try something we often overlook. For some reason, The Roosevelt was never really on our radar. I had gone with my Dad in maybe 2016 for dinner and I think we each got burgers, but since then I had never really dived deep into the menu at all. Well tonight, we finally gave it a solid spin. We ordered 6 things off the menu all of which we split- which was probably way too much food, but we ate every single bite. Each dish just got better and better as the night went on. The brisket stuffed peppers and the catfish were among our very favorite dishes we’ve ever had. So memorable. Needless to say, we will no longer be overlooking The Roosevelt, and it’ll be added to our go-to’s on rotation. One last thing... the prices??? So excellent for what you get. Overall- delicious, innovative food & a bill that won’t have you keeling over. Plus they feed you. Portions are on point. That’s all I got. 10/10. Can’t wait to come back.

Myself and 4 other friends get together each month to try a new restaurant. I must say the Roosevelt was by far the best we have had. The atmosphere was cozy, the service was impeccable. The food took me back to my childhood. Highly recommended.

We came to celebrate my sister's 50th birthday. The area and atmosphere were great. The food. We had to wait an hour to get it after we placed the order. I ordered the turkey log and couldn't eat the greens because they were so salty. We made reservations for 7 and arrived a little early and for 8:30 reservation and was actually seated before then. My only issue was the length of time to have our food served to us and the greens to salty. I can't say it was worth the money I spent.

One of the best food experiences I've ever had. Everything was unique and delicious. Their menu changes like daily apparently but we got the beef tartare, goat cheese, short rib stuffed peppers, fried catfish, steak, and dessert. Highly recommend and will be going back very soon.
