I had the duck entree along with lamb lollipops. So good! They were both cooked perfectly, and the lamb had a little extra spice that really took it up a notch.

Started with a nice Lebanese bottle of wine which was good. The salad was awesome. Sausage plate and the lollipop lamb chop plate were exceptional. Ordered butternut squash with Italian sausage it was excellent. Risstto for a side was a nice option. Pumpkin bread pudding was a perfect ending to the meal. Service was friendly and efficient

Great food. Elegant without being over the top. Service pretty casual. Plate presentation was nice. Good value for the quality you receive. Smaller space. Booth is a tight fit. Highly recommend for a date night or special occasion

In every category they are just top tier. The servers are knowledgable and kind and respectful, the vibe is romantic and lovely, and the food is absolutely delicious. The cooks put their hearts into developing their menus and you can taste the care and attention that goes into every dish. We told the server about my food allergies and without skipping a beat she cheerfully showed me all my options. The kitchen was very accomodating. The wine is fantastic too. My boyfriend and I love this place and my mom has had wonderful experiences esting here too. 10/10!!!!

We had a great evening last night at The Stables at Belmont. It is not a very large restaurant, but that is probably what makes it a top-tier restaurant in Richmond. Every plate that leaves the kitchen is set perfectly and delivers a mouthwatering punch. From their starters to their desserts, The Stables at Belmont dishes were all spectacular.
I like to say it’s all about the details and the little things. There’s no secret that many ladies carry expensive handbags. As I mentioned earlier, the Stables at Belmont is a small restaurant. When Michele was looking for a place to set her handbag, the only place available was behind my seat on the floor. Our waitress, Emily wasted no time in bringing us a napkin that we could place on the floor and set the handbag. Like I said, it’s all about the little things, and those are the ones that leave lasting impressions.
To set the evening in the right mood, we ordered a beautiful bottle of Pauillac 2018. The Stables at Belmont have a generous wine card. The south east ceviche was an explosion of flavor. Our entrees, sunflower seed crusted mid-Atlantic catch… wow (halibut). I generally don’t order halibut locally as my travels take me through Anchorage often. But after reading the description, I had to give it a try. I may have to change my ways! The house-made seafood cavatelli is another home run. We wiped both plates clean. We capped off the evening with a peach tres leches. This, you really gotta try!
All in all, we had a wonderful experience at The Stables at Belmont. A special thanks to Olivia and her team. Your entrées are delicious, the atmosphere is sweet, and the pace is perfect. Well done!

This evening I went for dinner with my family for my mother’s 65th birthday. Our waitress, Olivia, was the absolute best. We all loved the main dishes and couldn’t decide. She asked us our preferences and helped each one of us decide on a dish that fit us. The evening was AMAZING and the dishes were shared amongst one another. We even had the private room and we received control over a speaker and had the flexibility to open a door to let fresh air in. THANK YOU for this beautiful memory. We all agreed this will be our special occasion restaurant moving forward. (And our weekday date nights).

the best food in richmond HANDS DOWN! Amazing service, and even better bartenders. The kitchen works harder than any other restaurant in richmond, and care very deeply for each dish that comes out of expo.

I’ve come here for friends birthdays, graduation dinners, anniversaries and every time theres a monumental or even just a regular day, the staff makes it a point to treat you like your family. Everyone needs to try this place at least once, and then keep coming back.

The Stables is a vibe! Great place for a date or special occasion. I love the mood lighting! Everything put on our table was perfect. The food is next level! Parsnip ice cream. Who knew??
Service was spot on! Our server, Olivia, was amazing. Somehow she knew what we needed every time without us even asking. Ask for her by name if she’s there! You won’t be let down. 10 out of 10!!
