The ladies here are fantastic! It’s a family owned and operated small business. They provided wonderful, customized service to make sure I got exactly what I wanted for lunch! And it was QUICK! Before I found them, I only had sit down options that would take 50 minutes and was in a hurry due to being on a tour with limited time for lunch. Thank you so much for the hospitality! And the food was DELICIOUS!!

We were looking for a sweet treat after dinner. I've been around over 60 years and these were some of the best donuts I've ever had. Went right before closing, the donuts were still fresh and amazing. Quick service from a very nice young man.

Walking into The Treat Shop is like stepping back in time. It's a super cute shop full of delicious donuts, cotton candy, candy apples, and sooo much more. They also have some good options but I strictly came here for the sweets. I bought an apple fritter, candy apple, and strawberry iced donut. All were so delicious. The donut was surprisingly airy and the icing was yummy. My favorite was the apple fritter. The texture was fried perfection. Every each was bursting with flavor. I'll definitely be back to try more menu options!

I decided to try out The Treat Shop after seeing soooooo many positive comments on Facebook! I am so glad I did!!! they are some of the best donuts in town! I was looking for a cinnamon bun for my son's birthday and they didn't disappoint! The cinammon buns and the apple fritters were as big as my face! I ordered a specialty dozen that included a cinnamon roll donut which looks like several cinnamon rolls smashed together and my son said it was the BEST donut he'd ever had (for reference, he is 22). Then I decided to try one of their breakfast items. They cooked the item fresh, made to order and it was so simple and delicious! Bacon, egg, and cheese on white toast. Bacon was crisp, egg was fried and cooked perfectly! So good! And the staff was so friendly! If you want the cinnamon buns, apple fritter, or cinnamon roll donut, I would suggest calling ahead the day before you plan to go! I did and so glad I did because they were almost out when I went to pick up in the am! Thank You for a fabulous experience! I will definitely be returning and shouting your name all over town! Sorry, no pics because we ate them ALL!

This place is soooo cool! All the treats you can think of at a carnival is here!! Today, we went for doughnuts. And they are sooooo good! Highly recommend!

I’m very disappointed with the funnel cake I purchased here. It was soggy and the texture wasn’t right. Funnel cakes are supposed to be crispy and airy…not soft and soggy. I had to throw it away. $10 completely down the drain. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Have only tried 3 donuts from here so far and all of them have been excellent. They taste similar to (but better than) Krispy Kreme. The chocolate creme filled is my fave, however, the white iced and glazed braid ones are delicious as well. I agree with other reviewers when I say coffee should definitely be added to the menu. Best donut shop I've ever encountered.
Came here late right before close and got the apple fritter. Lemme say that apple fritter is HUGE and delicious. Must try for Richmond.
