The best brewery in Richmond hands down. Food is amazing as well. Get any of their seltzers if you like fruity non beer tasting beer.
So good that I came back twice in one weekend (to show friends). The bartender was great and super helpful in picking out beers and even remembered me the next day. Every beer I had was great and the menu was just so expansive.
Also the restaurant on site deserves a shout-out for coming in clutch. A meal I ordered was meant to be vegetarian and when I noticed bacon in it they immediately remade it without question.
Abundant seating and a huge selection of beer to go. Plenty of street parking in the neighborhood. My only issue was the bathroom set-up; it's a series of single use stalls with their own doors but they can be very cramped and the entire space is a bit messy and also poorly lit.
Enjoy Veil, good beers, nice food, friendly, good vibe.
However, clean your bathrooms! Your experiment is not working! Guys are slobs. You expect women to use the same bathrooms!
I don’t think so!
The beer is great but the service makes you feel like a burden. Space is reminiscent of what you would find in the worst of new American sprawl. If you want to feel like you are in Phoenix without leaving the Virginia this is your spot.
Stoked that I'm finding your beers around Colorado now!
Been wanting to go to this brewery for years. It's one of my favorite breweries in the world. Sadly I was disappointed in every aspect. First, they decided to open an hour late for no reason. Second, they did have a single popular beer to-go. Thirdly, really nasty bathrooms. Unfriendly servers. Long food wait times. You get the idea.
Every IPA at this place is lights out! Incredible beers with multiple different styles that are all top notch. The inside taproom is cozy and spacious with lots of different sitting areas available and features some cool light artwork.
Always great!
Holy moly get a second bar. I am not waiting in line for 30 minutes away from my friends to order a beer. Do better
We hosted our wedding’s welcome drinks in the Neon Room at The Veil Brewing Company, and it was a great experience. With around 100 attendees, the space was just the right size, creating a lively yet comfortable atmosphere. Everyone had a great time, and the setup was perfect for what we envisioned.
If you’re planning an event here, we highly recommend reserving the separate register—it made everything much easier for our group. Madison, our event coordinator, was incredibly accommodating. She allowed us to put a slideshow on the TVs and even made arrangements so we could drop off items and decorations ahead of time. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or support for our welcome party!

Wonderful craft brews and awesome space to enjoy
I went to the Veil by myself with my two dogs after reading that their patio was dog friendly. At first I was upset because you can only order inside and the dogs aren’t allowed inside, and there were no servers or any employees at all outside. But, I decided to call. I talked to a wonderful employee named Sam who met me at the door and took my order and brought everything out to me and the dogs. She brought my to-go beers out too and all of the beer was fantastic! Thank you Sam for making it a great experience!
Great place, beer and food really good - area is great and post 'up and coming'. Breweries on every corner - veil is one of the better locations.
Great beer and food. Love their IPAs
The Veil does not disappoint. The beers are varied in style but I do wish there were more low abv options. Had the Merciless Hazy IPA and tried the Belgian quad, and both were excellent.
The Asian food options were excellent. Had the pork belly rice: the sauce was amazing and the pork belly rich and flavorful.
Comfy seats at the tables but they need more 2 or 4 person tables for those wanting a less public place to sit and drink. It would also be nice if the patio was covered to afford more comfortable outdoor seating in rainy or super sunny conditions. Overall though, the Veil is still one of the best breweries in Richmond!
