This place has a great atmosphere. Really cute little bar for that location in the little shopping mall. It's really cozy and inviting and is just cool. Bartender was great, and cute.

The look of the place itself is the best part, there's no sign or markings for the bar. The service was awful though, sat there for awhile (10 min) before even being approached and asked about drinks when I was one of the people out of 5. Waitress wasn't friendly at all and for the cost of drinks and not to mention very over priced food, wouldn't consider coming here again. It's a nice once and done with experience but otherwise could've lived without it.

I would say having been to quite a few cocktail bars in my life around the world, I would rate the drink quality as the best I have had. A bold statement I know, but the drinks were truly amazing. Not over powerful, the ingredients were balanced and there wasn't any over powering flavours that I find ruin a good cocktail. I had 3 drinks and all of them were fantastic. I would of had 2 drinks but the first 2 were so good I had to see they could be topped. Highly recommend a visit. Keep up the good work!

We did not have any food, but the cocktails were amazing!We went out with some friends for dinner. Afterwards, they suggested this place for cocktails. W E had never been.The vibe was chill, with soft funk music playing in the back ground. The cool, dark colors and soft lighting set the tone. Great scratch bartenders that make excellent cocktails. we ordered from the specialty menus. I highly recommend ordering from them.I hate comparing places, but so that you can get a sense of the place, this is like the quieter version of jaspers. by that I mean you can actually hear the conversation and don’t have to speak so hard. Parking was easier. It’s neither better nor worse. The vibe is just different. However, just as good.We were a group of seven. This a small place and the bar was full and we were standing up still able to all have a conversation. I also saw a group of 5 sitting and having a good time. The rest of the crowd were couples.The only negative was that if you don’t know it’s there, you wouldn’t know this cool place exists. I almost passed the place but saw my friend in front.

My boyfriend took me here to convince me to move to Glen Allen with him and I've been coming to this bar just about every week since. Tasty and unique cocktails every season with smart and incredibly kind bartenders crafting them. Every inch of this place is instagram-worthy. They always make sure your drink is filled and take their time making sure it's right for you. Plus some great food options from next door they offer in house. Truly a 5 star experience at the Verdant Lady. I stopped in around 8ish on a Tuesday night, so it was pretty quiet and low key. This is a little strip of a bar with great lighting, a really good playlist (at least while I was there), and a super nice bartender. I tried the Verdant Lady, their namesake cocktail, and it was great! Good portion, balanced flavor, and a good amount of drink for what I paid ($13ish). I then challenged the bartender to make me a non-alcoholic drink after that and she made me an extremely delicious one! They have N/A liquor that you can ask for, and she even put cute glitter on it as well. I sat and read for an hour or so and really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend for a quiet night out. Could get busy and very squished on weekends I imagine, not a great place for a large party. Will most definitely be back with my partner and friends!

The Verdant Lady is in an unsuspecting location in the corner of the Gelati Celesti strip mall. The bar is quite literally tucked into the corner and completely hidden from the road, which is unfortunate, because its gem inside. The quaint bar seats only ~15 people at the bar, and no table seating. Its a warm, speakeasy vibe inside making it perfect for a quiet date night! The signature cocktails were deliciously crafted and reasonably priced with a very good happy hour that runs until 7pm. The bar sells food serviced from their neighbor, Les Crepes. I ordered the french onion soup which was tasty and warm during a cold winter evening after work.
