We went to the Bourbon and Bottles class at the Gather & Hem bar - what fun!! Aimen (& VQ) are expert mixologists and they shared their expertise with flair! We are really looking forward to the next class. Don’t miss it!

My bartender was Aimen, she was fantastic. I asked her to let the cook know I’m allergic to all nuts, she came back and said he wasn’t sure on what oil was used to fry the shrimp, he offered to grill it instead and I took him up on that. It was fantastic, I think grilled shrimp needs to be in the menu!

My waiter was Chris and he was AWESOME!!! His customer service, mannerisms, and delivery of care provided during my dining there scored this visit with 5 stars (6 stars for Chris alone). I shared this special moment with my love ones in celebration for my sister Jackie's birthday. The reservation went smoothly however I was well-behaved after being told that my original reserved area had been given away when I arrived. However, look at God, because that experience resulted us to get and meet our server Chris. This place is a vibe. Evening happy hour is great value. Aimen was great. Very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Try the Waygu Poutine. Amazing. Sliders were good too. Last time we were here we had the Martini Tower. Scotch Addition was good too from an Old Fashion guy. Will be back.

Great food, friendly service, nice atmosphere. Everything I’ve had there has been great. Love the food, especially fries and Brussels sprouts. Drinks are good and reasonably strong. Valet parking is $10 which is cheaper than parking in the lot across the street.

My friends and I went to Gather and Hem at about 7 and it was fantastic. The ambiance is amazing and the late happy hour (7-9) is really fantastic as most are too early for us to get off and partake. The drinks were strong but delicious and the sliders and poutine were very good. We will be back!
We had a great time at Gather & Hem Bar!!! The drinks that Aimen fixed were amazing!! If your in the area stop by and have a drink or two, lol. You won't be disappointed.

After not seeing a dear friend for a while, we chose this location because it was central to the area and offered what appeared to be a good selection of cocktails and small plates. Wheb we arrived our server took our order for cocktails and shortly thereafter our cocktails were dropped off at our table. After catching up for 20 minutes the server the took our food order. We ordered the Brussels, lambchops and a charcuterie plate. It took over 45 minutes for the Brussels to arrive and an additional 20 minutes for our lamb-chops to be dropped at our table( they were cold). We never received our charcuterie plate, but watched countless other tables who came in after us received their food. The server never apologized. It was so obvious that the server just forgot to put order, and there were no attempts to remediate it. Out of frustration, we canceled the last item ,paid and left. It was a really terrible experience as someone who previously worked in the service industry. I'd be super apologetic comp anything and make sure that my tables were taken care. It was a really disappointing and put a damper on a night of meeting up with a dear friend. I hadn't seen in so long. Our hope was that this would be more than a basic hotel bar restaurant, the experience was giving Motel 6 versus the Hilton.

Had dinner off of the happy hour menu. The octopus was absolutely fantastic, the sliders were solid. Jazz band was playing and the place was lively. Small menu but overall it was a cool Lounge for being in the lobby of a hotel.

My sister and I ate at Gather & Hem pre-show at the National. Every dish we ate was absolutely delicious. The cocktails had super cute names & were very well constructed. The table service was welcoming, attentive & knowledgeable about menu items. The hostess that welcomed us to the restaurant was warm, welcoming& professional. The ambiance was busy but not excessively so. Gather & Hem is definitely a restaurant I will return to again. I loved that if you have your event tickets while eating there, you get a discount on your meal. I think that is so awesome!
