We ordered Chicken Egg Fu Young last night and hot and sour and egg drop soup as a pickup order. When we got there they had zero Fu Young. We took the soup home and it was horrible. Watery, zero taste, and we will never go there again and advise those who read this to avoid their nasty food.

TIKI TIKI in Richmond is the kind of place you walk into and immediately feel like you have stepped into a portal. The walls glow with bamboo, neon light, and unapologetic kitsch. The food is classic Chinese-American comfort. No frills and no ego. Just the familiar hits we all grew up eating, done well enough to keep you happy.

But nobody comes here searching for culinary enlightenment. They come for the escape.

The atmosphere is a beautiful and shameless throwback to an era when tiki bars were temples of pure, goofy joy. It is a time capsule filled with flickering torches, carved idols, and drinks that arrive with enough fire and fruit to make a pirate blush. The staff understands the assignment and leans into the vibe with real sincerity.

If you are bringing a date, order the volcano cocktail for two. It is theatrical, excessive, and absolutely perfect. Then get a pu pu platter, complete with the little flame in the middle. Fire improves almost everything in life, and this place knows it.

TIKI TIKI is not just dinner. It is a mood. It is a moment. It is a reminder that life gets too serious too often and sometimes you need to sip a giant rum drink while something burns in front of you.

Five stars for the escape alone.

We really enjoyed our meal and time here. Parking lot was packed and we were still seated immediately. Server was nice and checked in frequently. Our food was SO GOOD, we got the Singapore noodles and sesame chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked, nice hunks of meat, and the sauce was great ( a little sweeter than what I’m used to but still great ). Drinks were great too, paying 8.95 for a boozy cocktail in a fun tiki cup? Perfection! Will be back again!

A real throwback to the days of excellent service, great food, and puu puu platters. A wonderful family or date night experience. Our price per person included wine!

Stopped by here with friends and it was well worth it! Amazing mixed drinks, fresh mojitos, an expresso martini worth the stop…light creamy but not overwhelming.

6 of us lunched there. We ordered, I specifically told waitress I couldn't eat broccoli. To make it clear I pointed to the meal I can't eat & pointed to dish I selected. When my order came, it had broccoli all over it. Pointed it out to waitress, she got upset, raised her voice telling me that's what I ordered. My sister heard all conversation. I asked for the correct meal, she fussed that they had to prepare a new one. 3
minutes later, waitress brought food back, the same order without broccoli. I noticed the kitchen employees helped waitress change dish. Terrible, didn't taste good if they brought out the dish I ordered.

A wonderful experience, the food was so tasty. The portions were perfect. We feel that Tiki-Tiki serves the most authentic Chinese food around here.
