Food is in small single serving but priced like family size with additional charges when you choose shrimp instead of chicken. I have been to many Thai restaurants, their TomYum soup is not that authentic taste. It’s just sweet and salty. Service is great because they will already include an 18% mandatory gratuity charge on your bill. Place is clean but as soon as we got in I can smell the restroom. Not coming back to this place.

Their Pad Thai chicken (extra chicken and. O peanuts !) is my all-time favorite, and I’ve worked my way through all six spice levels over the years. They offer a range from American mild, medium, and hot—then step it up with Thai mild, medium, and hot. I usually go with Thai spicy medium, which brings the perfect kick without overwhelming the dish’s flavor.

Another standout is their curry chicken with yellow sauce—rich, comforting, and a great change of pace when I want something different. And let’s not forget the crispy spring rolls—every time we’ve ordered them, they’ve hit the mark.

My wife and kids order different dishes than I do, and while I can’t speak to what they eat, I can tell you they always leave happy.

If you’re craving authentic Thai food with consistent quality and flavor, Tip Thai never misses.

Tip Thai is truly a local gem! It’s family owned and the food always comes out so delicious and fresh! I’m absolutely convinced they have the best chicken wings in Richmond. The drunken noodles and curries are also amazing - you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

This place was ok in terms of food and service what was shockingly horrible was owner asked me to tip her and when I said no am fine I will pass she was like no you have to tip i was like what it's not a compulsion she was like oh yes it is i am like WHAT?! It shocked me to see that over my experience going to 1000s of restaurant it was estremely pathetic for the owner to beg for tips and when I asked tips for what she was like service like what she expect to come to her restaurant make my way to kitchen and Cook for myself and serve myself and pay her for food. Listen lady i want to tip is my choice if i like your service not just cause you serve me food.

Talked to one of the great ladies there. She's from Bankok originally so everything's very authentic, very good.

Decided to order on a whim because they're close to where I work, and I was not disappointed! I got the Massaman Cury, and it is absolutely delicious. I will absolutely be coming back, and will be telling my coworkers and friends about this place!

So it was Admin professionals day this week and i was gifted a door dash gift card. Perfect! I thought...I could order my faves...well idk what happened here but my food is er...over cooked. And the staff used to be way friendlier. Makes me so bummed out. (And I always tip them, don't I feel silly now!)

I ordered it through Grubhub because there was a 4.7 review. The worst Drunken noodles I’ve ever eaten and I have eaten a lot of drunken noodles! Zero flavor the vegetables are undercooked the noodles are overcooked, and the shrimp doesn’t look like they were cooked at all. Threw it in the garbage it’s just trash.

It was ok, they close at 2:30 and open later for dinner. I had the curry chicken, supposed to be 3 star extra spicy but it was not nearly as hot as I was expecting. I don't do much Thai but I'm glad it's an option if I ever want to try them again. $18 after 12% tip.
