Loved it. First time going. The cashier was super friendly, the food was awesome. Best queso (hillbilly queso) I've had in about as long as I can remember.

We came in as a group of 8, but ordered on two separate 4 person tickets. It was visually busy and we could see that other parties that came in before us were waiting a long time as well. However, we didn't order anything extremely complex, just one taco per person and a couple of beers. This is not an indictment on the individual servers. They were hustling and doing their best, while remaining friendly and courteous. There just weren't enough people working to serve the customers efficiently. One beer took almost 20 minutes to come out while the other came out immediately. My nephew ordered a burrito without cheese (lactose intolerant) yet the burrito came with cheese. We also received orders from two separate tickets on the same plate. It just seems there needs to be an improvement in efficiency of processes to support the people working so hard just to keep their heads above water. Once we got the food, those that were able to eat it seemed to enjoy it.

Food tastes good, but to get enough requires getting at least two entrees.

Tacos are always good but the frozen margarita machine was broken the night we were there and we were not told about until after we ordered and paid.

We are long time die hard Torchy’s fans, ever since it was a food truck in Austin 15+ years ago. Before the awesomeness of Torchy’s started spreading across the country. We have enjoyed Torchy’s all over the country. This sadly was our least favorite experience. Every place else you get your sauces on the side, here they put them on the taco which helped them be soggy. And my fried avocado taco did not come w the lettuce it was supposed to have and very little pico. The avocado was soggy. Had this been our first experience with Torchy’s we would not have come back. I asked to have my taco remade with the sauce on the side and with lettuce which they did and told me they have just started putting all the sauces on (which they should tell you when ordering I guess).Anyway, I still love the tacos but this location needs more adherence to the standards I guess.

Food: I thought the tacos were excellent. Ordered the pork carnitas on corn tortilla and chicken fajita on flour. Both were fresh and tasty. Especially enjoyed the flour tortilla on the fajita taco - nice and chewy.Service: Gentleman who took our order was friendly and happy to be there. Food came out quickly and a manager came out to inform us that the rice was going to take 20 minutes so asked if we wanted to wait or get a refund, which was appreciated because we had somewhere to be so couldn’t wait. We also sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly. Asked her if I could get rewards points for this order and she explained that I’d need to contact corporate to retroactively get rewards. She said they wished they could help on site but couldn't. She went and printed a receipt for me so I could contact corporate.Atmosphere: Cool vibe with local Richmond flare. Would be a fun place to go with friends to watch a game sometime, as they have a full bar and TVs behind the bar. Also great outdoor space under bistro lights, which will be great during warmer months.Value for cost: my wife and I spent $36 for 4 tacos, chips and salsa, rice and 2 sodas. I paid what I would expect to pay given the dining experience - nicer than a Chipotle-type of quick-serve restaurant, but not a full sit-down restaurant with a waiter and table service.

Stopped in tonight for the taco of the month, the Churroscoe (fried chicken tender and egg) and a baja shrimp. They were both good, especially the Churroscoe. The menu has several creative options, as well as some that are more traditional. And as many others note, they're kinda small and kinda pricey for $5+ per taco. I need 3 to be sated. The sauces are good. The service is good, employees appear to be teenagers or twenty-somethings. Very polite. The location is good in the newest Carytown Exchange section near Publix. If tacos are your thing, you'll enjoy Torchy's.

Good tacos, a bit over priced for what you get. The sauces make up for it, especially the bacon bourbon marmalade.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible from street parking .

Tacos were good but a bit overpriced. The customer service was mid, although the manager was nice enough to give us a refund for our guacamole that they never gave us . If you go try the salmon taco.

The tacos were okay. I feel like they cost too much for what you get. It was nothing to run home and tell mom about.

The servers and workers are excellent at their jobs but the food is overpriced and not high quality. Lovely space though.
