Really I just felt compelled to leave this review. When a person waits 15 minutes just to place an order there’s a problem. When you try to ask a question when it’s your (first visit) and you’re told that the menu is self explanatory….that’s a problem…. To be outright rude that’s Definitely a problem! So honestly the food could possibly be good but I’ll never find out because I refuse to support your business if you don’t have halfway decent customer service. All I wanted to was if I could add something to a menu dish and what the price would be. Simple enough right but I was greeted with rudeness & attitude. So y’all have at the it and prayerfully you’ll have a better experience.

I actually came there months ago and stopped in later in the evening, one man was running the whole restaurant and the food was insanely good. Got the seafood pie and garlic fries. The owner was funny and would talk to the people while he was cooking their food and he was a funny guy. Will be coming back for more.

1st time in there on my lunch break and it was over all it was a pleasure, the owner was awesome he even gave me a couple of samples of the other items he had while I waited for my order, my only issue is that it’s not quite a lot of food for the price but that’s a lot of places you go now but it was very good , hot and fresh, everything was very good and I understand that it’s a new establishment so the portions may change down the road but regardless I will definitely be back

Disrespect, rude and no customer hospitality, when asked owner if they had fried chicken, he got belligerent and rude to degree of disrespectful. He said if it's not on menu I don't serve it , said I didn't need fried chicken and if I wanted some I could walk down sidewalk to other restaurant and kept saying words under his mumble , I have never gotten treated like that in any restaurant and we dine out every Friday, my friend and I tried a different in support of black business , when I say the experience was degrading it's an understatement. His words was horrible, I couldn't patronize this place where an owner can speak to a customer or anyone in that manner I'm 73 I dine at every week , so I walk down to Jackie restaurant and got take out my appetite was gone , I must say my take out was nice , waitress was nice and spoke with respect , I will be sharing my experience with family, church family , this was horrible

**long review but worth it** Stumbled upon this establishment today and I was impressed and blown away by so many things. First off the owner was very welcoming and greeted me as soon as I walked in. The restaurant was very clean and has a laid back atmosphere. The owner told me about his specials for the day. When I said I was sticking to the pies he said okay I got you. To my surprise I was given a sample of the crab Mac n cheese and the baked chicken over rice. I’m no food expert, but I know how homemade food like my grandma used to fix tastes. That was some GOOD food! Now let’s not forget about the pies… I ordered a chicken and steak pie. Both were phenomenal! Yes I said phenomenal! Reminds me of a pot pie with a twist. The crust was soft and cooked to perfection. The insides of both pies…STAMP! The owner told me about his Brunch on Sundays and I will be sure to go back. I was so busy eating the pies I forgot to take a picture before I ate them. But you get the point. Please go check out this establishment, you won’t be disappointed!

We went on Friday night at ate at the resturant. The food was awesome. The staff was amazing. I will be going back soon!
I did not care for the food at all my crab cakes had shells in it ,and I had to keep spitting them out two sides were suppose to come with my order but he had ran out so he only gave me a $2 discount ,I really did not enjoy my meal at all neither did my fiance, we will not order from here again, Thomas was very nice and so was the place I can say that much.

Me and my brother drove down from Philadelphia and decided to dine at this establishment. If I could give it 20 stars I would!!!! This place felt like home. The owner Thomas was amazing as well as the food. The seafood Mac and cheese is to die for. The salmon was finger licking good. And the hospitality was great. If you are in the Richmond area please treat yourself and visit this restaurant. Thank you 🙏🏽
