I was really looking forward to enjoying a night of drinks, dancing, and cumbias at Tropicabana, but I left disappointed. I ordered a Tequila Red Bull from one bartender for $10, then later ordered the exact same drink from another who first said $10, then changed it to $12 after taking my card. When I asked why, he said “that’s the price” and blamed the first bartender for not knowing. The inconsistency and attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I ended up leaving early. I know it was only $2 more but its the principle behind it — not the experience I expected.

Disappointing, we traveled 3 hours, we arrived and it was closed on a normal Saturday, there was no report that they would close, in short we could not enjoy it, ruled out for next time.

We came form Michigan last weekend to see Raulin Rodriguez perform. Didn’t know what to expect since we aren’t from VA. We had an amazing, amazing night! Raulin was great of course but the DJs that night were really good & our waitress was really, really great. Thank you. We plan on returning!
This bartender ask my friend for $50 before ordering our drinks he only order 2 simple drinks paid her $50 before ordering and after we got our drinks she asked for $50 again said we never paid her but the 4 of us said he paid her $50To start with she said no and said $50’ more called security and lied does we didn’t pay and was forced to pay $100 for 2 drinks !! How does that make sense if They were tiny cups ?’!!! She stole $100 from him!!
