The food is SO astoundingly good that it compelled me to write/post my first ever google review.I don't live in Richmond, and I've only been in this city 3 different times. The first time, I stumbled across this place randomly - ever since, I've made sure to come back every single time I visit. I always order at least 3 food items, never order the same thing twice, and every single thing has blown me away.Would and will recommend to anyone spending any amount of time in Richmond. The relatively low price astounds me almost as much as the quality of the food. I would spend triple the price for this food, and I truly couldn't say that about any other restaurant I've been to.I do not take this lightly. Please go to Tulsi, for your own sake and for the sake of future generations.

Food is one thing which was no doubt the best, but all the people here are amazing and very caring.We were driving to Cary, NC after wrapping up some work in DC and had to stop for a dinner. Found Tulsi due to its great reviews and the location that’s close to I-95, so decided to take a chance and it was worth the stop.Due to rush we couldn’t order much especially from tandoori dishes or appetizers but like their unique concept of choose your protein or veggies in favorite curry base.Overall great food, place and the crew. Thank you.Parking: Busy downtown street so may not get the parking right on the same street or closer to this place

LOL I just paid $22 for the tandoori mix (shrimp, chicken, lamb) It's literally 5 pieces in here. I'm in such shock, that is crazy. Needless to say, the portion size to price is unfair.

I had the Chicken Tikka and the chicken was perfectly cooked. Juicy, tender and perfect spices. My daughter had the butter chicken. It was excellent as well. We will eat here every time we are in Richmond. Great service!Dietary restrictions: They had a large selection of vegetarian dishes. They also had a lot of poultry and fish dishes.

We stumbled by this amazing restaurant months ago and have not had any other Indian Cuisines since then! My family has celebrated birthdays and many more. The food is always delicious, fresh and comforting. Plenty of food to take home and enjoy!

We really enjoyed our first visit eating here this evening. Our server was very polite and accurately took our order. We have eaten at various Indian restaurants over the years and think we like this one the most, The chicken tikka presentation was excellent. My partner really liked his vegetable curry dish. I also ordered a mango lassi and loved it! Wonderful!
