The Twisted Crab - Richmond

What can I say. After finding a good place that fries up some good fresh shrimps and catfish I come here often. Managed is very friendly and always greets us upon returning to the restaurant.
Today December 20th, Sabrina2 took care of us. She was truly courteous and professional at all ends of the service. She was prompt to take our orders and bring out the meals. She checked up on us and made our dinning experience a pleasant one.

The fried catfish and shrimp are a must to try. Plenty of parking and it’s right beside the mall.

I ate at Twisted Crab last night, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Our server was new (his name was Brian or David), and while I tried to be patient, the service was unacceptable. He repeated our order back to us, and I was very specific, yet my order still came out wrong. I don’t like sending food back, so I kept it, but both the crab and shrimp were badly overcooked.

After taking our order, the server never checked on us. He didn’t refill our drinks, didn’t apologize for the incorrect order, and didn’t even bring our food to the table. The only other time we saw him was when he came back with the check.

Between the poor service and the overcooked food, this was a terrible experience. I will not be returning, and I will definitely let others know about the awful service and food we received.

Doreen was AMAZING!! And she had a good energy and knows how to make drinks, and the bar was clean and organized, she needs to be a manager

Food is served in a plastic bag. Useless paper plate, no cutlery apart from a plastic fork (which broke). Drink served in a plastic cup so thin you can’t pick it up without busting the top off and spilling it. Dreadful!

The food was terrible , did a pickup and honestly I would not repeat, food was cold mussels had no flavor at all no seasonings wings were really big and not good

Jasmine and Doreen gave me Exceptional service they made me feel comfortable. They made sure that my food was prepared. It is a must to come to twisted crab in the Chesterfield town center to enjoy a wonderful seafood cuisine. You will not be disappointed. Wonderful, thank you so much OK

I’m not usually one to come on here and start bashing, however my experience at the twisted has drastically changed since they’ve been under new management. Doreen has completely ruined the overall dining experience at one of my favorite restaurants . The restaurant has completely gone downhill since she has become the manager. The place has lost all personality it once had. She has fired everybody that once put a smile on my face and I can’t say that I’ll ever be back unless changes are made. Thank you, Keisha.
