I met the owner and he was very passionate about his business. A true Texan that is making his mark in Richmond. I tried the pulled pork sandwich and it was legit. I would order from here again.

Ordered online as it was one of the few options late at night. The food was absolutely great! I loved the Smokey flavor and the Cajun fries. Thank you for being open late at night as I am pregnant and was starving! I also love the personalized messages he leaves on the boxes. Lol will definitely order again.

A Great Person with Great food , clean atmosphere, there is love in the food, I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be going back again, I hated turkey until I had Uncle Jim’s smoked turkey, you could cut it with a butter knife, don’t hesitate to try it for yourself, and your family will love it

Ordered online, the food was truly so delicious! I got the Alamo. They were out of the baked beans I ordered so they called and we subbed them for the green beans. Tex (I think the owner) wrote a sweet note on the box and gifted a cheesecake too for the swap! Really great food and people.

A class act! Had the pleasure of meeting Pitmaster Tex last night when we stopped in to order. He was so personable, friendly and welcoming. You can tell he truly loves what he does. The smoked Mac and cheese was the best I’ve ever had, so we’re the Cajun fries. We also enjoyed the pulled pork and chopped brisket sandwiches. Will definetly be returning! -Trew
