Small market with a cafe and delicious simple bites. The atmosphere makes me think of the East side neighborhood of Milwaukee, community focused and a total vibe.

This is the second time my husband and I have been to this café. We absolutely love it and the food is amazing and the service is awesome. In fact, we just told some friends of ours that we're going to bring them back here.

Sadly we arrived at the wrong time during a shift in the help…our order seems to have been misplaced and we waited one hour….very disappointing…eventually we caught someone’s attention and got our food in another 10 minutes…
Food was good but fighting the pesky flies was tiring despite having two fans at our table.

Current veggie burger nails it. Kudos to UM chef for making a delicious homemade veggie burger from simple, natural ingredients. Holds together on the bun with all the toppings and cheese. Love the spicy garlic aioli. I added avocado and even stuffed a bunch of the side salad greens under the top bun. Very satisfying meal for veggie people.
Quaint local market serving great cold brew, beer and sandwiches. The market has a great selection of goods and all were served with a side of kindness! Thanks Jess, for surprise and delighting me while I ate at the bar!

Casual atmosphere, friendly staff, generally solid food. The drip coffee is awful though

It was a last minute decision to have breakfast here and the goal was mostly just to spend time with a friend. However, it was a delicious breakfast and such a cute location. I definitely would have bought a bottle of wine if I wasn't hopping on a plane tomorrow.

Their hand soap smells good. Not like the chemical-smelling hand soap from the McDonald's in Springfield, MO, circa 1990. We were garage-selling around town and my little sister had just had a meltdown.
In hindsight, I realize my aversion to that particular industrial hand soap is VERY contextual.
And yeah, their food is great. Potter's Cider on draft. Manageable expectations are the key to happiness.

My friend and I met here for lunch before touring Richmond and we liked it so much we had dinner before heading home! I loved being able to eat a gluten-free sandwich and it was amazingly delicious! Definitely a great place to eat!

Union Market never misses. I’ve been here several times visiting Richmond or as a pit stop! They have delicious and healthy food. Loved this half salad half sandwich combo! Got to eat outside this time. So glad to see its still here!
